NATO remains committed to partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina and reconciliation in the country, NATO headquarters in Brussels said.

“The Srebrenica genocide has been one of the worst crimes in Europe since the end of World War II. Bosnia and Herzegovina has come a long way in restoring trust between communities. For reconciliation to continue, the way forward must include acknowledging the suffering that has taken place,” it is stated to Fena news agency from NATO, at a request for comment.

“NATO remains committed to our partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina and reconciliation in the country. NATO allies have made it clear that they support BiH’s territorial integrity and have repeatedly called on political leaders to avoid divisive rhetoric,” they stated.
