Dearsan MHV 80 will not have nonmagnetic steel.Mine countrmeasures can be performed from far distances with auvs,uuvs so there is no need to close the dangerous region and nonmagnetic steel,it would be also cheaper.Hisar class OPV 99 regained aselsan hızır torpedo countermeausure system,if aselsan düfas is added this ship would became a pure antisubmarine warfare ship,with bow mounted yakamos sonar,düfas,antisub helo,orka lightweight torpedos,roktetsan rockets assisted underwater bombs,and with the fruit of electric propulsion system.Tree of this ship working in harmony,multistatic sonar systems,will be submarine killer task group.

Does anyone know if Cenk 200 will be enough for hisar and atmaca
For the 'enough' part, only Navy could tell after several tests, and Atmaca doesn't necessarily uses radar engagement / guidance unless that it is within visual ranges, which is very well covered by CENK-200.

I have a feeling that they might end up getting CENK-300 on all OPVs, especially after getting a VLS installed. We should be more concerned that installed FCRs are the low-end member of AKR family and lacks illumination as opposed to AKREP-300-N.

Seemingly they have been working on this mechanism awhile and repeating the same mistake they had done with YHSS; attempting to offer a complete end to end solution, instead of focusing to perfect the mechanism - barrel itself. They should make the gun and leave rest to Aselsan.
Still waiting...
They've been working on a revolver type 35mm, similar to KDG. Some of the weapon systems showcased over the years require the smaller footprint of the revolver to exist. Non surprisingly, all those systems also went nowhere, because they have no guns as MKE is yet to show it.

ULAQ Unmanned Sea Vehicle and HIZIRREIS Submarine Are Preparing to Enter Service!

Ministry of National Defense:

"The commissioning of the Hızırreis Submarine, Ç-159 Landing Ship, and ULAQ Unmanned Sea Vehicle, as well as the steel cutting ceremony for the 7th ship to be constructed under the Offshore Patrol Vessel Project, are planned to be held on December 20 at the Istanbul Shipyard Commandership with the participation of our esteemed President."

Milden (national submarine) became Ay class submarine
TF-2000 became Tepe class destroyer/muhrip
MUGEM length changed to 300 m. We will see whether there are any changes in displacement.

need to check but there should be only two countries in the world with aircraft carrier length ≥ 300 m .... US and China

if you count Admiral Kuznetsov then add Russia as well

An agreement regarding the procurement and integration of Electronic Warfare, Radar, Communication, Navigation, Weapon, Electro-Optics and Underwater Systems for the naval platform combat systems has been signed between ASELSAN and Military Factory and Shipyard Management INC. (ASFAT) valuing EUR 225.000.000. The deliveries will be made between the years 2026-2030.

Could it be for the first Tepe? Timeline seem to match, 2030 may be a bit late though. Or possibly for the new batch of Hisars. Latest talk about them in the last month was much more firm. Ships 7-10 are probably signed for now.

Looks like the OPVs - four of them. Tepe Class (TF-2000 for newcomers) haven't passed to contract stage, yet.

$225 million FYI 2025 is highly subsidized for all the equipment (SSB had carried out all the bargain and agreements prior to this, thus contract value does not vary among the contractors) and fairly cheap, it is currently at $120-150 million per hull, with no munition. There also has been a rumor of replacing MAR-D (CENK-200N), with ARDA-X (CENK-300N) for later ships but it needs a confirmation.

Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler responded to a parliamentary question regarding nuclear submarine projects.

Minister of National Defence Güler:

“The goal of building domestically designed submarines and nuclear-powered submarines under the ongoing National Submarine (MİLDEN) and Nuclear Submarine (NÜKDEN) projects is part of our country’s vision to enhance its deterrence against regional threats in the Eastern Mediterranean and surrounding seas and to become a global power.”

“The Republic of Turkiye aims to expand its defense industry across various sectors to enhance its naval power, and while it targets the construction of submarines with long-range capabilities and high stealth features, a timeline has already been established for the design, production, and feasibility studies of nuclear-powered submarines.”

The Turkish Navy is open to cooperation with all friendly and allied nations, particularly NATO member states, regarding nuclear propulsion technology, and continues its efforts to utilize domestic and national technology in the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Project, just as it does across all platforms.”

“The operational requirements of our forces are determined in accordance with Turkiye’s National Military Strategy, based on a threat analysis of the seas and the region, and within the framework of the political-military context. The force structure and selection of compatible platforms to counter potential maritime threats, as identified through these analyses, form the foundation of the project planning phase.”

Currently, only six nations (the US, Russia, China, the UK, France, and India) operate nuclear-powered submarines. However, looking at ongoing global projects, this exclusive club is about to expand. With Australia (via AUKUS) and Brazil (PROSUB ) expected to become the 7th and 8th members, and North and South Korea signaling their own ambitions with official programs, Turkiye’s goal to join the top 10-12 nations with nuclear propulsion capabilities is becoming a much more concrete vision.

Saying that the Turkish navy's vision after the Tepe-class missile destroyers and the Milden national AIP attack submarine is now aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines is, no longer speculation but a concrete reality based on a real roadmap. However, catapult studies on aircraft carriers, and which class of nuclear submarine is meant are still areas where we can argue, fight and speculate amongst ourselves. :)

(side note: In this context, the recent "Strategic Partnership Framework Document" signed with the UK is particularly noteworthy. While it’s primarily a roadmap for defense, energy, and high-tech cooperation, the timing is hard to ignore. It comes right as the UK is exploring new cooperation models for nuclear propulsion (such as the PWR3+ tech for AUKUS), signaling a potential shift in how these sensitive technologies are managed between allies. Ultimately, this agreement reflects Turkiye's intent to harmonize its tech ambitions with global partnerships. It creates a diplomatic and technical foundation that could prove vital if new doors open in the realm of nuclear propulsion.)
