Latest newspiece from the Kathimerini news is that Turkey is interested in buying excess stock Spanish SM-1MR missiles for Gabya Class frigates. Spain is slowly retiring their Spanish built Santa Maria Class ships based on the OHP and will start replacing them with newer F110 Bonifaz Class ships starting from 2028. Santa Marias never used SM-2s and all their SM-1 stock will be scrap. This would also mean we are interested in using Gabyas for a very long time still. SM-1MRs are very old and nearly obsolete missiles, but would still do lot of good in our usecase.

Gabya will be replaced by Tepe class destroyer so first Tepe can be duty ready by 2031 and all of them around 2038 so for 11 years gabya ships needs more missiles

There are news that Turkey will buy second hand SeaHawk UH.

Let me also share a piece of information indirectly related to the Temren project. The Turkish Navy will acquire second-hand SeaHawk GMH. The purchase will be made from a country across the ocean. The process is proceeding with the knowledge of the United States, but it won't be acquired from the US.
