High commissioner of Pakistan Imran Ahmed Siddiqui has invited Bangladeshi businesses community to consider the investment opportunities in the connectivity projects in Pakistan including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The high commissioner made the invitation at a view exchange meeting with Bangladeshi business community and journalist at Hotel Agrabad on Thursday night.

The high commissioner highlighted the common bonds of history, faith and culture between Pakistan and Bangladesh and briefed the gathering on Pakistan high commission’s efforts to promote stronger economic relations between the two countries.

Dainik Azadi editor MA Malek, BSRM Group chairman Ali Hussein Akbar Ali, AK Khan Group director Salauddin Kashem Khan, BSM group chairman Abul Bashar Chowdhury, Chattogram chamber's former president Amir Humayun Mahmud Chowdhury and Farid Uddin Chowdhury, vice-president Syed Mohammad Tanvir, director Ahid Siraj Chowdhury Swapan, among others, were present at the programme.

Earlier on Wednesday, high commissioner of Pakistan Imran Ahmed Siddiqui also called on Chattogram Port Authority chairman Rear Admiral M Shahjahan and customs commissioner Fakrul Islam during his two days visit in Chattogram.
