These are supposed to be what governments do to weaken other countries; look at what Fahrettin Altun and his cyberarmy is doing and tell me if you see any difference, esp. in the light of the new poll by an AKP-adjacent polling agency showing the crushing majority of the country has no problem with Ataturk or Laicity. Just to consolidate the most zealous part of their base to further their agenda, they sow discord and increase polarization; this admin is truly a huge national security risk.

5th generation is to beat an enemy country without using kinetical force using misinformation

The last thing they want is Turkmen independence. Just imagine if they were independent in both Syria and Iraq... It would essentially encircle Iran's Turkic population areas and they would be next to gain independence. From there a bridge to central asia would be inevitable. The world would wake up to a unified Turkic entity that would challenge the current order. Neither China, Russia nor the west wants this. Neither do their allies.

I also want to add that there's been a recent push to secularize Iran. This isn't in our interests, essentially it means that the west is ready to strengthen and support them when the time comes. This way they can act as a bulwark against Turkic expansion. I guess you could say they want to form a second, much larger and much more organized version of the SDF. All against Turkish and Turkic interests.

The CHP is now scrambling and carrying out information warfare to try and reduce the side-effect of recent events in order to preserve the CHP's voter share since the difference between the AKP and CHP is an average of 1.5 points according to recent polls which is insane considering how bad the economy is rn and proves just how bad the CHP is in general

The polls for late December will probably show improvements in voter sentiments towards AKP after what they did in Syria; thus, closing the 1.5 difference if not even ending with an edge compared to the CHP

Ozgur Ozel is so stressed that he even further screwed up and said that Ataturk had it easy because he had no whatsapp or twitter and even questioned whether the YPG should be considered as terrorists when they raised the revolutionnaries plans. Even Imamoglu and his pro-DEM cadres have been criticising Erdogan for the act of raising the Turkish flag in Ummayad mosque and the historic Aleppo castle even though Turkey/ottomans did rule this land once

If Erdo even managed to liberate the remaining 30% of Syria, expect more bullshit accusations and fake news by the CHP to mitigate the damage caused to their power base as Erdo's popularity will soar again since not only did Erdo returned the refugees but created a so-called "vassal" state known as Syria with 30 million people that Turkey could use at any moment. In other words, the AKP will appear as restoring Turkey's imperial heritage and influence to its peak, as in the Ottoman period, within the domestic political field

The situation in Syria ceteris paribus can be managed in the long run due to the mandates of geography and demographics; but the ceteris paribus clause concerns the domestic negotiations to disband the PKK. CHP, AKP, MHP none of them any good for Turkey. AKP seems more nationalist than CHP but their mistakes both domestically and internationally are enormous, so they are a bigger threat to Turkey in my opinion. But actually they did most of the damage already. I think some combination of Yavuz Agiralioglu, Sinan Ogan, Ümit Özdag, Turhan Cömez, Muharrem Ince and a few people from IYI parti seem to be the best choice. But not sure I'd keep this list if I get to know them more deeply.

It is a pity that this country has been managed so badly since 1938. When you come from Europe you see what Turks have done to themselves. Turks are their own biggest enemy. Otherwise, how can you explain children being torn apart by stray dogs. Is there any other country like this in the world?
