One R1 sentinel took off from the British base in Cyprus preferred not to utilize Turkish airspace and instead go around it over Greece and Bulgaria. It joined another R1 Sentinel and did some ISTAR missions against Russia. Has Turkey asked the UK/NATO not to use its airspace for flights targeting Russia?
