Well, we have almost everything we need ready and in use on other products, we just need to adapt them.

Gökdeniz has auto target tracking and engagement and Gürz has AESA radar plates to detect targets, along with a targeting radar. If these can be modified/adapted, it could work. AESA plates on the corners of the tank like Gürz and fire control radar on the turret, perhaps a modified smaller version that works lets say within a kilometre instead of tracking further out like it normally would on a ship.

Already mentioned Venom, perhaps the barrel could be shortened as long as it can hit targets (again) within a kilometre of the tank, other than that it could work great. It's barrel is 30 or 40 cm longer than an M2, so just brining it back down to that length could help with the turret.

Now, I'm not a big fan of Unirobotics, so I'd prefer if Aselsan modified one of their turrets to be more compact and work with Venom. They have a KPV version of Sarp, KPV is almost as long as Venom but weighs about half of it. Maybe a modification of that could work, with a small fire control radar on top.

It's obviously just guesswork on what we have, but parts of what might become a system that could protect our tanks is out there like Lego pieces, waiting to be put together by experts, imo.

The most technologically feasible option to make a CIWS out of 30x113s would be integrating it with AKKOR's sensors but the those tiny ATGMs have to be detected pretty early by the radar so that the slower turning RCWS can take aim before things are left to AKKOR launchers. Maybe when we have quicker turning RCWSs and more powerful electronics, thats what I actually meant.

Can't we use bigger radar arrays w/more power rather than a quicker RCWS (which is probably harder to do)

These arrays would be smaller than Aura of course but still big enough to detect/track incoming ATGMs coupled with EO systems

I assume the quality of a camera directly correlates with the size of its lenses and mirrors. So, will the Toygun EOTS, which is much smaller compared to the Aselflir 500, be sufficient for ISR missions on the ANKA-3?

I assume the quality of a camera directly correlates with the size of its lenses and mirrors. So, will the Toygun EOTS, which is much smaller compared to the Aselflir 500, be sufficient for ISR missions on the ANKA-3?
But toygun is trying to spread the stuff in a wide shape with that mirror for stealth shape + like F35 that has its mirror rotate all the time it probably use advanced image processing to stitch images and do other stuff to create a total sensor fusion map of everywhere it travels

Seems Baykar is following a grand vision: vertically integrated drone company with all important assets from sensors, missiles (Kemankes), engines made inhouse under one roof.

Vertical integration works when you have the R&D labs that could further the science and the technology without being tied to your suppliers abilities. What is BAYKAR's know-how and know-why regarding the IR FPAs? It took decades ASELSAN to develop and serially produce cooled MCT detectors(along with other cooled and uncooled IR sensors). Will Baykar start poaching ASELSAN scientists for R&D or just do systems engineering with the supplied detectors?

Wonder which company does the work for them. They worked with a subcontractor for the engines, they must have a subcontractor whom they financially and technically support. (And someone likely they have acquired certain amount of the shares). They possibly help with connections as well to make something go through bottleneck in these kind of components.

Could also be that they are unhappy with Aselsan not being able to scale production fast enough. Maybe the EOTS is a bottleneck and they are solving it by doing it in house
