The USA has a policy to not export their most adavnaced fighter jet in order to maintain their military superiority
Till this date, the US has refused to sell its F22 raptors to even the friendliest nations like Israel while initiating F35 sales like hotcakes

During Trump rule, he wanted to sell the F22 to Israel but the congress, pentagon and even the Senate refused as far as I heared. It is qyuite rare to have all such institutions (that are normally opposing each other) to actually agree on something unlese it is due to a decent reason ofcourse

We can keep arguing about which is better, but all of us deep inside knows that the F22 is better since the US refuses to sell it to anyone

They have 20 years of technology gap in between. F-22 being better than F-35 is against the nature of technology. If F-22 is better than the F-35, the USA should keep it for itself. But, they want to retire it, meaning that the USA doesn't even want to keep it for itself.

USAF only wanted to retire 33 training variants because of the rising maintenance cost but Congress blocked it.

When it comes multirole capability f35 is has the upper hand. But when comes to air superiority nothing can beat f22.
This has been said in many interview by experienced USAF pilots ( some of them flew both jet )
And why not?
it has better stealth, better manuverability, better speed, bigger radar, almost similar ew suite. More and longer range weapons.

It does. The F-22 is not allowed to be exported to anyone, even close allies, in spite of strong demand. In contrast, the F-35 is designed from the ground up to be exportable to anyone who can pay for it. This alone tells you which aircraft has the more sensitive tech.

Also, the F-35's design is also from the 90s, but it had a very delayed and problematic development. Some things about it are newer than the F-22 but its still designed as a cheap plane with no classified tech in it.

Ismail Demir has made a good remark on this matter:
"We are moving on the certain projects whether or not the partners are taking a seat with us. These projects will move on with them, or without. Thus, there is no leverage as it was available in the beginning of these projects, as these are becoming nationally critical projects with the current conjecture".

You might possibly know what kind of leverage was offered to certain possible partners to lure them into the project, those are not available anymore.

Algeria could possibly opt for Turkish fighters if the Russians don't solve their production issues (especially if a tech transfer/cooperation agreements were put on the table). Something I personally hope for...

Indonesia was excluded from the program for not making the necessary payments. What is the guarantee that you will pay us regularly? And what kind of partnership will there be after this stage?

I hope certainly there is no any kind of 'cooperation', 'partnership' with any non-western country (UK; BAE, RR...) after this point.

Potential customers, luring them in? that's ok but NO 'cooperation', 'partnership' talk.

I'm getting angry when I see technology sharing/transfer etc. It's very disrespectful and disturbing for taxpayers and engineers! Even if we give that tech to them they cannot produce it this is not civilization V game. You need expertise and infrastructure for these.

Those possible partners are right now hitting their head against the walls of their offices.
Now at best they can become a export destination and nothing else.
