From an interview made a day ago regarding HURJET...

TAI CEO Temel Kotil:

"We performed static testing on our static test prototype today. Our aircraft performed perfectly under full load."

"Uçağımız pırıl pırıl yerinde durdu, kırılmadı" 😎

EDIT: Forgot to mention if it was TF-X or Hürjet sorry :/

2026 is a bit early IMHO. Aselsan can deliver BURFIS in late 2025 at the earliest mid-2026 is a more likely date. Serial production of TFX is very likely to start in 2028 but TuAF can get a few TFX in late 2026 for testing purposes.

At this point I want to bring up this earlier post of mine regarding the agility of the TFX.

Kızılelma rocks, TFX follows !

Prf. Hayrani Öz made the calculations and I made the data conversions and visualization.
Which plane makes the level roll turn easier.
The larger the polygon area the better the performance.
TFX engine power increases will make it even more agile.

Maneuverability Comparison of Fighter Jets
I'll believe MIUS but stay sceptical about MMU. So far, its only claims.

Mr Demir: ""The locality rate of MMU at the prototype stage is around 50-60%, and in mass production it will be close to 80% in the future."
