Trump is creating big problems for North America by failing to honour the free trade agreement and for the Europeans by betraying Ukraine. threatening to occupy Greenland etc.

Perhaps due to the new US attitude of seeing other countries (including partners) as targets for exploitation, RR will be more interested in long term involvement with Turkiye.

On the topic of Eurofighter, I think that the UK assembly line has no more aircraft to assemble. I hope that the UK government will order more after the defence review is published later this year. As far as I know the US can severely hinder UK use of its F-35's but it cannot do that to UK Eurofighters so I hope that more will be ordered. The UK's early Tranche1 aircraft are due for retirement this year or next. Additionally, the skilled workforce used for Eurofighter assembly needs something to do until needed for GCAP.

Would make sense eurofighter and Rafael production lines would to slow to handle the demand if European nations would switch it would take years and I doubt that anyone in Europe except maybe ukraine or Hungary would buy kaan

5.gen jets are not that widespread that they'll be a problem. the workhorse is still 4th-4.5gen. Spitting out country names that are buying 5th gen isn't going to make a difference.

who here thinks Algeria is going to be a problem for Europe ? None. China is too far away and in case they start selling 5th gen to Russia (I doubt they will) it's not going to be a problem for Europe. And Pakistan, well, still not going to be a problem for Europe anyway you look at it.

Besides no one has had 5th gen flying in warzone with proper AD yet, so I doubt we'll truly see if it lives up to expectation of will fall like flies.

Those are just the first customers, if many others decide to buy jets from china or russia, it will become a problem.

Did F-35I's stop Israel from doing mass destruction ? I don't think so. Neither did Russia's SU-57's. Mass destruction weapons will always be used. I got your point anyways.

Maybe if we shared the IP with them. They are not interested in a system if it's not French. It's a good thinking to have as much as possible.
