As far as sheer extent and scale of (mountain/valley) natural beauty goes, it is very difficult to come close to Banff in Canadian Rockies (let alone surpass - Grand Canyon arguably does, having been fortunate enough to go there too...but that is a different process of creation).

The national park was established in 1885, about 18 years after Canada was confederated.

Norwegian fjords, Himalayas and parts of Alaska and the Andes come to mind too though.

But anyways, God spent a lot of time here perfecting the landscape...and we humans can augment to little bits of it but can only marvel for most part...

Fairmont hotel* Banff:

Moraine Lake (from tremendous glacial activity that is still studied)...it is just one of many scenes in the area (3 is really not enough, you can do 3000 even and wont be enough imo - esp given the natural wildlife too like Elk):

Nowhere quite makes you feel as small and insignificant like Banff does imo, you have not properly skiied unless you have skiied/snowboarded at Banff....

*Would like to add Fairmont is the newer brand name. Generally the "main" hotel of a Canadian city is found adjacent to the railway station and also Hudson bay Store (generally these days now in a mall format). These were all intimately tied to rail travel, the rail companies (CN and CPR) along with Hudson bay company developed lot of this real estate around the train station.

Banff is kind of an exception in that it was already a tourist hotspot (at the time in 19th century) so the hotel is kind of a stand alone resort...without that major commercial/logistics hub that is trademark of larger Canadian cities where you find the oldest hotel, shopping center etc.
