News The construction of the Unorthodox War Ship AGINOR is progressing in the Greek Shipyards

Some informations:

On Thursday, February 6, 2020, it took place in the event hall of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology (EL.IN.T.) lecture on "Promotion of the Greek Design / Design and Construction of the Boat AGINOR " , with speakers Anastasios Kyprianis, Mechanical Engineer (NTUA) and Panagioti Alourda, Shipbuilding Engineer (MIT).


The vessel will be able to undertake the following missions:
Insertion and Extraction of Special Forces (Insertion and Extraction of Special Operations Forces).
- Interdiction and Coastal Patrol.
- Search and Rescue.

The maximum speed of AGINOR in full load condition and condition sea state 1 will be over 45 knots at their maximum continuous power machines (MCR maximum continuous rating). The ship of unorthodox war AGINOR will operate in sea state 4. The energy radius of the boat at 35 knots will be 350 nm.

The main features of the original AGINOR boat are as follows:
Overall length: 17.60 m.
Total width: 4.20 m.
Depth: 0.95 m
Full load displacement: 22 tonnes.
Useful variable load: 4.5 tonnes
