Due to military security and protocols, the current and definitive military personnel roster or exact headcount for any brigade is not shared via “open sources.” However, it is known that, in accordance with the organizational structure standards of the Turkish Armed Forces and depending on the type of brigade, the standard military personnel strength ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 personnel (in peacetime). As a slightly more reliable estimate, I believe that in certain cases these lower and upper limits can be adjusting by approximately 10%.

Roughly speaking, we are talking about an additional force of between 50,000 and 80,000 troops—a size nearly equivalent to an entire army, and in terms of personnel, one that approaches the total military strength of most European armed forces.
