I think he was referring to Greece not being an archipelago. Being an archipelago grants nations some different rights in international law such as other country not having ''superiority of mainland'' which is an arguement Turkey uses against Greeces troublesome island Kastellarzo.
Greece is not an Archipelago state, everyone knows that. Most of its territory is archipelago.

So then you think you can apply that kind law of the sea?

lol

we are not bu we have.... :D
The Law of the Sea has been signed by the majority of states worldwide. It is not a Greek "invention".
With the appropriate geopolitical and military power, Greece can defend its legal rights.

Greece is not an archipelago nor an island state, but it is a coastal state with Turkey and consists of two parts, the mainland and the archipelago. International Law of the Sea concerns all EU states. and those states that want to enter it (as Turkey says it wants) should respect these rules. We are talking about 168 countries around the world that have signed this treaty, including Pakistan and Qatar, your friends and allies! Turkey along with 14 other countries are still left in the Middle Ages where the sword judges the right and the wrong while another 14 states have signed but not ratified it.

Greek territorial waters are 6 miles, so the rest are international. Territorial waters give the littoral state full control over air navigation in the airspace above, and partial control over shipping, although foreign ships (both civil and military) are normally guaranteed innocent passage through them.
So it is perfectly normal for a Turkish ship to be present in this area, even for communicative reasons of impression of Turkish public opinion.
Soon, Greece(as did in Ionian sea) will extend its territorial waters from 6 miles now to 12 miles from the South Crete coastline.
