Turkey tested the Russian-made S-400 air defense systems for the first time during drills near the town of Sinop in the country’s north, a source in military and diplomatic circles told TASS on Friday.

"Three missiles of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system were launched. All of them successfully hit the designated targets," the source said.

Aster-30 Block 2 will have a double stage solid fuel engine with IR + DACS + KV. The missile, which can destroy medium range ballistic missiles (MRBM) which 3000 km range including their decoy heads, in out of the atmosphere at a maximum altitude of 70 km and will be put into service in the ~ 2030s. Turkey wants to be in this project.

Some news papers specially Greece quoting Russian news sources reported Turkish S 400 test failed as they didn't allow Russian experts .
What about the test , was that successful as Turkey expected ?
