Agreed! But…
With this logic is it correct to think that the F404 engines for Hurjet could be in jeopardy? Or is Tusas not included in the embargo? (As Hurjet is a Tusas Project not SSB)
Also could TFX’s f110 engines, have been embargoed had they not been already received?
Just thinking out loud!
Procuring engines is a different issue. TEI has a big American share. There are different mechanics involved there but eventually, some problems might appear. I don't think the embargo will be an issue. The real problem is the lobbies in the American senate. They will block the sale of the engines for serial production. Senate approval is not needed if the transaction value is lower than a fixed amount. So there won't be a problem with prototypes.

TEI's shares in GE should now be purchased. I guess it has a big impact on the product development process. Especially in parts such as copying and inspiration.

I think you mean GE shares in TEI. GE doesn't want to sell its shares. GE having shares in TEI is good for us. The US can't embargo TEI and if they do we can get GE shares for a fraction of their worth.

ÇFR(Çok Fonksiyonlu radar/Multi-Function Radar-X band) consists of over 1000 T/R modules. UMR(Uzun Menzilli Radar/Long Range Radar S band) should have around 4000. UMR is the same as EIRS the difference is CAFRAD will have 4 of them for 360 degree coverage.

Low and Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile Systems (HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O+)
Low and Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile Systems were designed to neutralize the threats at low and medium altitudes, as a part of point and regional air defense. As a part of HİSAR A+ Project, SelfPropelled Autonomous Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System and Missile Launching System along with the Low Altitude Air Defense Missile, which can be launched with these two configurations, were developed and produced, and the product/production line qualification was performed. In HİSAR A+ Project, the AcceptanceFiring Tests for both configurations were conducted and the deliveries have been carried out successfully. In the firing tests, it was seen that the high-speed target drones were exterminated at medium altitude and the maximum range. HİSAR A+ Project is now ready for mass production. As a part of HİSAR O+ Project; development, production and product/ production line qualification activities are conducted for Fire Control Center, Medium Altitude Air Defense Radar, Early Warning System Link16 Interface, Electro-Optical System, Missile Launching System and Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile. Qualification processes are about to be completed in HİSAR O+ Project and after the acceptance tests, the system is expected to be included in the inventory in 2021. In addition to these activities, efforts are being made to add RF Seeker functionality to the system. Mass production contract negotiations are also in progress.

Long-Range Regional Air and Missile Defense System
In January 2018, two separate contracts were signed as a part of Long-Range Regional Air and Missile Defense System Projects in order to meet the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces. Under the “Conceptualization” Project contract, which is undertaken by ASELSAN-ROKETSAN-EUROSAM Business Partnership, system conceptualization activities are being conducted. The first two project phases have already been completed and the last phase processes are in progress. As a part of the Long Range Regional Air and Missile Defense System Project, a domestic and national system will be developed named as National Long-Range Air Defense Missile System-SIPER, which is being conducted under a business partnership model by ASELSAN-ROKETSAN-TÜBİTAK SAGE. The first prototypes of the ground systems, undertaken by ASELSAN, are expected to be produced and tested in 2022.

Development Activities of KORHAN 35 mm Weapon System
Development activities are in progress for a single barrel, low profile “Hybrid Ground Combat and Air Defense System” based on a 35 mm weapon and airburst ammunition in order to meet the current needs of the Turkish Armed Forces. System prototype was produced in 2020 and firing & non-firing tests were conducted.

Can Sungur reach the height of MALE UAV's? Don't think so, but you are right I completely forgot about tactical UAV's that will become a menace in the near future

Turkey to unveil new laser weapon system

By

Turkish defense firm Meteksan Defence Industry Inc. has announced that it developed a new ground-based laser system, called NAZAR.
As noted by the company, the NAZAR, one of the most curious projects of the Turkish Defence Industry, will be displayed for the first time at IDEF 2021.
Having been developed within the scope of the 1st Phase of NAZAR Project signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Turkey and Meteksan Defence in recent years, the land-based NAZAR System will be exhibited for the first time at the Meteksan Defence booth during IDEF 2021 Exhibition. Land-based NAZAR System provides broadband state-of-the-art laser soft-kill capability against EO/IR guided missiles to protect critical bases and facilities.
The NAZAR Project, which contains a technology that very few countries in the world are working on, is accepted as a strategically critical project on behalf of Turkey with its laser soft-kill capability. The system has been developed with the ability to detect EO and IR-guided missiles and to apply laser dazzling and soft-kill techniques directed against missiles with this feature. Thus, it will be possible to neutralize EO/IR guided missiles from long distances.
NAZAR has been developed to not only be effective against known EO/IR guided missiles, but also to have reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities that will provide an advantage against asymmetric threats thanks to its broadband operation capability. The system will also be able to work in integration with other sensors and systems to increase overall efficiency.
In the first stage, NAZAR can be used on a mobile platform by being easily transported to the desired locations in accordance with the operational needs. The electricity needed for the operation of the system is provided by its own generator, so there is no need for an external power source. Following the Land System developed in the 1st Phase of the NAZAR Project, the necessary modifications will be made to increase the Anti-ship Missile Defense (ASMD) capabilities of warships and it will be deployed to military ships. It can also be used as a test and training aid for the development, testing and evaluation of laser dazzle and soft-kill techniques.
Meteksan Defence Industry, Inc. develops national, independent and unique high-tech products for the Turkish Armed Forces and other security forces in the defense industry sector. Meteksan Defence, which operates in 6 main areas; radar systems, perimeter surveillance systems, laser and electro-optic systems, communication systems, underwater acoustic systems and platform simulators, is involved in many critical projects such as Turkey’s national ship, helicopter, unmanned aerial vehicle platform projects and the development of anti-tank and air defense missile systems. Radar systems for helicopters and UAVs, perimeter surveillance radars, drone defense systems, altimeters, data links of tactical and strategic missile systems, sonar systems, underwater early warning and communication systems and training simulators are the major original and national products developed by Meteksan Defence.
