Now for the last questions, is Turkey pursuing a mobile VHF radar to provide upper level IADS above the EIRS for VLO targets, like Nebo/YJ-27/Matla'ul-fajr? Or is Turkey going to pursue a different way for VLO detection?

Yes, probably.
Since it was not included in Aselsan's radar roadmap which was revealed some months ago, it is morelikely Tubitak who is working on that part for VHF-UHF-OTH radars.

This is what I was looking for. Siper is going to be virtually unjammable with 7 different ways of detection and guidance needed to be jammed by the enemy to render it useless (S-band radar, X-band radar, active K(a/u)-band missile seeker, IIR guidance, uplink, downlink and HoJ).
An almost impossible job by any air platform.

Now for the last questions, is Turkey pursuing a mobile VHF radar to provide upper level detection, above the EIRS for VLO targets, like Nebo/YJ-27/Matla'ul-fajr? Or is Turkey going to pursue a different way for VLO detection?

Are there any talks about an OTH radar down the road?
Yes, not only VHF but also a passive radar network is being developed. A passive radar prototype is already deployed and being tested in the field so it is close to entering into the inventory of the armed forces. There are two different passive radar projects PYAS(Pasif Yayın Algılama Sistemi/Passive Emitter Tracking-PET) and PBAS(Pasif Bileşik Algılama Sistemi/Passive Cohorent Locater-PCL). Those projects are at a very advanced state PYAS radar is close to entering into the inventory. As for VHF radar studies are going on but it is too early to talk about.

Twin 35mm Oerlikon gun needs to be redesigned to an single-barrel for improved performance. Concept like MANTIS is the ideal cost-effective solution for us.

We should still develop a C-RAM missile to supplement system like this. For our requirements, we don't need as high performance missile like Tamir.

We most likely going to get a update with IDEF

The STR radar itself is a high value target, a technological wonder that can detect very low RCS targets like shells and rockets. So as you said in the second message, I think 35 mm short range guns should be supported with RAM like missiles and other defensive measures.

Siper is said to have an Ka-band active seeker and will be able to intercept incoming ballistic missiles at 30km. If true, very impressive for an first block/variant of the missile.

I think Tozkoparan will be something like Hisar-RF with an booster. Gurcan Okumus said that it will be "very agile" missile. Maybe we can even make a anti-SRBM variant of it in the future aside from Siper ABM family.

Does any one knows what are seekers used in hisar and sungur missiles ?
Imaging infrared (IIR) for Hisar-A+ and O+ variants and Sungur MANPADS. There is also a Hisar-RF variant that uses an RF seeker. Hisar missiles also have a two-way datalink. Those missiles are in production. The first Sungur and Hisar-A+batteries have been delivered. The first Hisar-O+ battery will be delivered by the end of this year.

A longer-range(~100km) missile named Hisar-U uses an RF seeker and two-way datalink for guidance. It is expected to be ready next year.
150km range Siper missile will use IIR+RF+two-way datalink. It is expected to be ready in 2023. All of the missiles above are designed to counter airbreathing threats. Siper missile will have partial ballistic missile interception capability.

The anti-ballistic missile design and development project is in the concept phase. It is expected to be finished in 2027-2028.

The Focal Plane Array portion of the IIR seeker is still imported. Their production at the laboratory level is finished, according to the statement of the head of the Sage institute, they will use their own detectors within 1 year.
