We can learn 3 things from Russians. 1. Radar technology. Propulsion technology . Mechanics . And maybe nuclear technology.
1. Radar technology.
??
Nope they are less advanced
We already learned that from EU. We are more advanced now

2.Propulsion technology.
??
Nope again
We learned that from USA which are no.1 and we when to our own way

Mechanics .
definaltly no way even I can say big LOL. Russian mechanics??? :)))))))
Mechanic world is
1.Germans
2. Japans
Russian use stealed method from 70-80 from Germans.

We already learn that from Germans and improving that one too

Nuclear technology - Yes -> we already start ->this Akku project
When Akku start running -> Russian is will be not need it

watch all the video.

When communist soviet union fall it is happend that russian kgb CAN'T push/blackmail/threat anymore own engieners "If they don't build/create new militray platfroms" then GULG and dead . It was real back then and it is f... scary thing

Also happend that "kgb" can not able to infiltrate and steal effectibly as 60-70-80s I mean they need to understand new inovation, high tech machines etc.
russian can't produce that products they need to see from somewhere

Above change leave russians backword
They lossing big time. But nevertheless there is still ppl or countries that are build up with russian tech.
Even if it is showed as new product with diffrent look but build with old ideas.
russian are very very gooood on liying, twisting things buuttttt as I said there are dump ppl and they will not believe on proves even if they see it!!!!

I don't call them dumb, they are still capable to build a fighter. They lack technology, beside that they are still good. They have the industry and people for.

Bro, please ...
Compare all of our engines or propulsion system we have in production with Russian . Doesn’t matter if airplane engine, or Rocket propulsion or missile or whatever. Same with all Russian radar with ours. You can do this with mechanics solutions they use and as we use.

This Is How Many F-35 Fighter Jets Are Down for Engine Repair

Dozens of F-35 Joint Strike Fighters are down for engine repairs, top military officials disclosed Tuesday, as the services grapple with an engine shortage that has afflicted the Pentagon for more than a year.

Testifying before the House Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces, Air Force Lt. Gen. Eric Fick, who runs the F-35 program, disclosed that his service has been the hardest hit by the shortage.

As of July 8, the Air Force had 41 aircraft in what's known as "Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts," or MICAP, status, for engines. That means the planes can't be used on missions until they're fixed. The service accepted its 283th F-35 in May.

Fick said there are five other F-35s waiting for the repairs.

"I have three partner aircraft, I have one Marine Corps aircraft, and I have one U.S. Navy tail that are MICAP for an engine," he said during the hearing.

Some of those 46 aircraft are awaiting miscellaneous spare parts or are in need of upgraded F135 engine power modules, a component that improves the aircraft's thrust and performance, Fick said.

"We are also working closely with our industry and the Joint Strike Fighter organic engine heavy maintenance facility at Tinker Air Force Base [Oklahoma] on the depot repair recovery efforts," added Jay Stefany, acting assistant secretary of the Navy for research, development and acquisition. Tinker is home to the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex, which oversees the repair work.

Those efforts include reducing the time jets sit in depot by adding more maintainer shifts to expedite the power module replacement, he said.

But some problems are related to a surface coating on the turbine blades that overheats, causing the blades to crack. A defense official first told Bloomberg News earlier this year that the engines require maintenance earlier than planned, taking them out of service sooner and exacerbating the shortage across the services.

Fick said Tuesday that there has been no setback in aircraft deliveries despite the engine shortage, adding that his office realized it was facing the problem early last year after repairs took longer than expected. The blade cracking presents an intricate issue, creating a backlog of aircraft needing attention, according to a report from Defense News.

As a direct impact of the engine shortage, Air Combat Command, which oversees fighter aircraft units, earlier this year decided to scale back its 2021 air show schedule for the F-35 to make sure the aircraft were available for deployments and training.

"There are two reasons -- COVID disruptions and [engine production] quality findings," Matthew Bromberg, president for military engines at Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies, said in April.

He cited "COVID, Turkey, learning curve disruptions" as reasons the company needs to better manage its engine and spares production.

In 2019, the Pentagon officially booted Turkey from the F-35 program over its purchase of the Russian-made S-400 surface-to-air missile system; as a result, the Defense Department also began phasing it out of the supply chain.

Turkish industries produced roughly 1,000 parts for the F-35, including 188 associated with the engine, Bromberg said at the time.

A spokesman for Pratt & Whitney said the company has made significant progress in recent months to reduce the amount of time it takes to repair its engines and is on track to produce double the number of power modules than it did in all of 2020.

In an email sent to Military.com after this article's initial publication, the spokesman said that a lack of repair depot space is driving the delays, "NOT the reliability of the engine."

The structural improvements of the F-16 Blok-30 aircraft continue at full speed.

We delivered the eighth F-16 Blok-30 aircraft, whose structural improvement was completed within the scope of the F-16 Structural Improvement Project.

Note:

First Delivery took place around 18th July 2020. That means 8 Modernized F16 Block 30 in 12 Months.

The first one is the prototype fighter so it took longer. Modernization tempo is 1 fighter per month.

Body. Bodies of fighters have a design life calculated in-flight hours. In the case of F-16, it is 8000. After it is reached you need to change a wide set of body parts to keep them flying. Structural modernization will add 4000 hours on top of 8000 for a total of 12000 hours. After structural modernization, Özgür avionic modernization will start.

What about block 40s and even block 50s seen while being modernized in the video? In savunma sanayist's interview, chief said they only modernize block 30s. So block 40s and 50s receive different structural moderzation like falcon up or slep? Also block 30s' were confirmed they received falcon up.

These upgrades are done with most parts coming from LM in kit form. Only a handful of parts are produced by Tusas.
After this modernisation work, there will be a complete overhaul and modernisation of avionics. This though without the new Aesa radar is not going to give an edge to our airforce, we are looking for.
There were rumours that the Aesa radar for the f16 planes were being tested. But nothing concrete. (Also there are rumours that the Aesa radars for the F16 planes will be GaAs based. But the TFX one will be GaN based) We really need all block 30 and block 40 planes to go through the Ozgur modernisation with new Aesa radar ASAP, preferably with GaN based tech. (Provided we have permission from LM or we do not give a rat’s ass what they think)

Block 40s and block 50s will be modernized after block 30s. The modernization process will continue for a decade. Block 30s are the oldest one so they will go under modernization first. There are around ~140 block 30 and 40 aircraft with a tempo of 2 per month it will take ~6 years to modernize block 30s and 40s. The modernization process of block 30 and 40s will be finished around 2028-29(2022/23 to 2028/29). The first modernized F-16 block 30s will be retired between 2040-2045 while the last modernized ones might see 2060.

Tusas is getting structural upgrade kits from LM because you can't breach license agreements and produce every part independently. That doesn't mean Tusas can't produce the structural parts it gets from LM if it comes to that.
