Our Sniper teams carry really interesting and important names...
The first Turkish team is named after TMT commander Riza Vuruskan not much known him but he is one of the first Turkish officers who was directly involved in the creation of TMT and organization of the resistance, second one after Ali Danis Karabelen one of the founders of TMT also WW1 and Independence War veteran, served directly under Atatürk in the Intelligence and Guard units, Teskilat i Mahsusa member, founder of the Special Warfare Department...

The competition is still going on. I hope we keep up the good job. Swedish team is here which is traditionally very good and won competitions. Latvian team is also very good so it's still early to celebrate.

Turkish sniping starts young.
Turks love being huntsman's and marksmans.
They train with a rifle and the concept of one shot one kill. My Great Grandad loved his mausers and bolt action rifles with no scopes along with his hunting rifle. Too bad I never met him as he passed away in the early 90s. May Allah/Tanri/God rest his soul.
