They are not produced and delivered as a first things after signing the contract. There is often an extensive lead time for high tech products. Delivery could be many years away.

These drones for the UAE better be downgraded, with Turkish engines and extra expensive. Something like $40-50m a piece.
Turkey needs to understand that you need to sell downgraded weapons to unreliable countries.

I expect at least 80m usd per unit for akinci for kits, logistics and Training.
Same UAE was willing to pay 165m usd per piece for mq9a reaper but contract is cancelled.

If we take Akıncı for a one piece system as 50 million and TB-2 as 16.6 million (Per Romanian parliement)

The price per TB2 set is $67 million. On average, it makes a maximum of $70 million. There is no such thing as Romanian Parliamentary per money, the Romanian Defense Minister probably asked for an extra budget to secure himself.

I thought the same...
What's important is that the eco system that revolves around each Turkish system is benefiting from these sales. Every Turkish company that succeeds on the international market creates a pull effect for the entire industry at home. I'm happy.
Engines will not be TEI or Sensors will not be Aselsan. It doesn't have to be, this is the last thing you will worry about when you sell 60 Akıncı units.
