Building that thing in a country as volatile as Somalia is not a good idea in my eyes. I understand the geography behind such a move but it's still Somalia that is still facing tons of terrorism and instability.

Russia gave 100km2 land of Baikonur back to Kazaks. And Recently We were in talks with them. We can speculate we might also be negoiating something related to space with Kazakhstan.

On Unrelated Note, SpaceX gonna take Turkish Astronout to ISS.

Here You can watch number of TUA emploees, youtubers and a NASA employee commenting on the Ceremony.

How do you transport the rocket to Kazakhstan?

I don't think the fabrication of the rockets is all that hard, they could produce the larger parts of the rockets like the cryogenic tanks in Kazakhstan and the satellites, electronics, engines, solid fuel mixtures could be transported over from Turkey and assembled in Kazakhstan..

In all Honesty, How does Russia transport thier rockets to there?

They have a railway to Baikonur, but maybe assembly is done at the site itself. Not sure tbh.

I just think the rockets will be more expensive and less feasibile if you need 4 A400 to transport all the things to Kazakhstan first. Will be to expensive and not competitive.

Looks like the rockets are transported to the launching pad by rail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baiko...6_launch_vehicle_being_transported_to_pad.jpg

It is really sad that we don't have a proper place for rocket launch so we can gather and watch the launch

This company based in Izmir is launching what I believe is Turkey first warehouse robot called Robee.

This is what I like to see, defense is good and all but its not going to safe the economy. These kind of companies have been around for a while and robotics are very strategic. Especially in terms of Industry 4.0.

Just to give an example. Germany for example doesnt give a shit if Heckler & Koch is sold to foreign countries, but when a Chinese company bought Kuka (one of the worlds leaders in robotic) there was outrage and a law was introduced, so that the government could block foreign acquisitions in the future in strategic areas.

Honestly S. Korea is the role model here and Israel is the gold standard when it comes to per capita spend on R&D. It's a country with no or little natural ressources, similar to Turkey but way smaller in scale.

this is where Turkey shine... this is where the prie of your money really matters. Aselsan has 9000 workers, Tubitak has 5000, TAI want to get 10000 workers or researches to make something new, as Turkey pays less, at least 3-4 times, it is able to make good projects with low budgets...
