hmmm depends some pantsir systems hit, rest are outdated systems plenty of TB2s destroyed. Russians are no strangers to sophisticated drone projects or having better versions of pantsirs being used. I heard that some Russian poster made another turkish user sort of become quite after posting this image.

They tried to drag NATO into this but that did not work out. I thought Erdogan was the most popular turkish populist in terms of turkish nationalistm, your telling me that Turkey as more pro-Turk politicians that want to restore the ottoman empire than Erdogan?
Erdogan is not a Turkish nationalist he is an Islamist populist. In his own words, he said "all nationalist movements are under my feet". He ceased this rhetoric after he is allied with the Nationalist Movement Party(conservative nationalists). In the Turkish political spectrum, there are;

1) Islamists (AKP). They are against any sort of nationalism as Islam forbids any sort of nationalism. They don't have any national identity. Those people hate Ataturk and the secular state. They have decades-long of hatred against those two. A small percentage of those people are calling for a return of Sharia Law at all costs. Their spectrum is wide from moderate/liberal Islamists to Islamic brotherhood (Ikhwan) supporters to outright Taliban supporters. They are an alliance of Islamic jamaats, sects, and religious orders. Erdogan is the strong man who keeps those in line and prevents them from fighting each other. Gulen movement(FETO/PDY-Fethullah Terrorist Organization/Parallel State Structure) tried to shape the AKP according to its desire after the big alliance between Erdoğan and Gulen shattered. Various video and audio recordings were released to weaken the AKP led government. Gulen overplayed his hand and tried to execute a coup against Erdogan hoping that Kemalists will also support and tag along with the Gulen movement but whatever Kemalists left after the Gulen Movement and AKP purges did the opposite and supported Erdoğan.

2) Conservative nationalists (MHP). They are Muslim people who respect Atatürk and have no quarrel with the modern secular state. They have a sense of national/patriotic identity. They are proud to call themselves a Turk.). In the past Gulen movement according to their desire to shape Turkish politics cleared most of the names who can oppose Devlet Bahçeli with sex videos. After 2012 Bahçeli took a hard stance against the Gulen movement.

3) Secular nationalists. They are secular people who respect Ataturk and are proud of being a Turk. Real Kemalists. They are scattered between various political parties some of them lost interest in politics. They are now political nomads some of them seek refuge in the İYİ Party. IYI Party is a collection of conservative nationalists, ex AKP voter central right Turk voters, and some secular nationalists.

4) Socialists/leftists (CHP). They pretend like they like Ataturk but in fact, they want to create a new SJW Ataturk. They are trying to distort his views to suit their agenda. Most Alawite Turks and leftist Turks vote for CHP but some of the secular nationalists also vote for CHP out of respect because CHP is founded by Ataturk. SJW-leaning people won the power struggle inside the party against secular nationalists with the help of the Gulen movement and its underhanded tactics (aka sex videos). After that Kemalists are replaced with SJW people. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is one of the most unsuccessful politicians in the recent Turkish political life losing 10 consecutive elections against AKP led by Erdogan. CHP is the biggest opposition party. CHP made a comeback with the last local elections after Ekrem İmamoğlu (populist like Erdogan) wins İstanbul, Mansur Yavaş (conservative nationalist) wins Ankara.

5) Racists (HDP). They are socialists/leftists with racist views they consist of mostly Kurds. They plant bombs, kill underage girls with a Molotov cocktail inside buses. Assassinate teachers, workers, engineers. Somehow they are still allowed inside the Turkish political ecosystem because of the power struggle of various interest groups. They use one group against another to survive. They are the political party of the PKK/YPG/PYD/KCK/HPG etc.

6)Conservative or moderate Islamic Liberals. The newly founded Deva Party led by Ali Babacan who resigned from AKP is trying to get the votes of this political spectrum. He promises to return to the first days of AKP.

Turkish commanders had balls.

Comes to the turkish-syrian border and says get ready for war.

Turkey and the Assad regime nearly came close to war in the late 90s due to Assad crime family supporting ocalan and allowing him to live in a mansion.

Politicians wanted to resolve it with diplomacy while the Turkish armed forces insisted on force to root him out.

back then there was no russia or usa

In 1974 when Turkey went to war with the greeks and crushed them, both the soviet union and Britain threatened war against Turkey if they went in. Its not a new thing great powers threatening Turkey if she acts to defend herself.

When Turkey went into east syria trump wrote a letter threatening Turkey not to enter, erdogan threw it in the bin and went in anyway. The americans out of bitterness gave the land they were holding to russia to spite Turkey.

Even today its really the Turkish army that is dragging erdogan to act.

In Turkey the worst and lowest people enter politics, in general the best people in Turkey enter the military. You can see it while Turkish politics has been exceptionally bad, the military performance has been really good.

The terrorist organization PKK carried out an IED attack on TSK personnel located on the Şanlıurfa/Akçakale border line.

In result of drone strikes 3 points of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization were destroyed in Ayn Al Arab.

We seem to attack them when they attack us first.

Its ridiculous. This needs to stop. They should be getting pounded daily from our jets, artillery and drones along with bora missiles.

This inaction is constantly costing the TSK. Terrorists are getting emboldened to attack.

There is information circulating that we have martyrs. Please don't share any information regarding numbers or names here before the official announcement from the Ministry of National Defence. Thank you!

It seems like terrorists executed a tunnel bomb attack. There is news that 3 soldiers died in the attack.

Price to pay for inaction.

Pissing me off as long we continue inaction these guys are gonna strike Turkiye itself.

Every time we wait for them to attack us we attack them after that rinse and fcking repeat. They need to stop emboldening the rats simple as that.

Now 3 Turkish soldiers get martyred protecting the Turkish border.

Why does it matter anyway?? When we have terrorists in the fcking parliament itself. The Country is compromised to its core.

This Goverment seriously is a disgrace, if their asses are cornered they start an operation otherwise don't expect anything else just minor artillery attacks.

Operation Olive Branch not fully executed, they left the Tel Rifat pocket -> from time to time ATGM attacks
Operation Peace Spring not fully executed, 150X30km buffer zone established in a very fast operation then stopped by TWO ceasefires (USA & Russia) and afterwards? Nothing. Operations were halted. -> such attacks are the result.

They are digging tunnels guess where those tunnels gonna end up in Turkiye itself.

We are losing time. A well placed drone strike can end tunnel building but nah we are too pacified to do shit and only attack when the rats attack us.

Its getting pathetic really. If no operation is gonna happen then these terrorists should be pounded daily with missiles, drones, artillery and jets. I mean use some som and atmacas.

I really dont wanna make enemies in this forum but let me say a fact....

No govt in Turkey, regardless of the party that forms it, whatsoever will be able to do anything in retaliation to such atatcks. As long as your militaries are weaker than 2 of the world's 3 superpowers, then expect you guys to either get your asses kicked or just retreat from Syria in disgrace

Take France for example, when they asked Turkey to stop its military operations in Libya, Erdo gave them the middle finger and just went as he pleased. However, when the USA and Russia intervened, Erdo had to stop!

This is the difference between a regional power and a world's superpower

Why does it matter??

If no operation is gonna happen Turkey can strike the ypg and its camps, headquarters to its fortifications and tunnels. A well placed drone strike can easily destroy their supply lines.

Lots of ypg targets that contain no americans or russians.

They can easily be bled to death with a 1000 cuts. But nope we rather play the inaction game.

Are you guys not watching EU media, you guys are apparently cruel killers since you are killing the kurds
In fact, I remember when Erdo announced that he will conduct an operation 3 months ago, NGO and Human rights groups started vowing that they wont keep quiet in case such an attack occurs..... The moment these idiots NGOs give Western govt an excuse to further sanction Turkey, expect the economy to be even more fqed than now
At least now, some companies are shifting their production lines to Turkey; the moment sanctions kick in, the 5 months of suffering by the Turkish ppl will be for nothing
