Seems like Lavrov misbehaved during his visit. Turkey has really been screwing up Russia ever since. More drones to Ukraine, anti-tank weapons to Ukraine, detaining Russian cargo ships and bombing regime locations. Ma’sha’Allah

TAF electronic warfare systems are deployed to the Euphrates Shield area.
It seems like we decided to play hardball against Russia.

Units of the Syrian Army launched a surprise attack on Maranaz, north of Aleppo, which was held by Turkish-back Syrian rebels. The attack reportedly led to the capture of the village, with Kurdish fighters capturing Umm al-Qari with Syrian artillery support.

In addition to Maranaz, the Syrian Army also captured Radar Shaala.

As per reports, the Syrian army reinforced its positions on the Azaz axis significantly after the capture of Maranaz. Azaz has long been a strategic rebel stronghold.
The Syrian offensive comes amid Turkish announcements of an upcoming incursion into northern Syria.

Come on boys, time to kick some ass... make them drones and Firtinas go brrrr.

I would rather see the turkish arms support to these people than ukraine
Why?
The Ukrainians only sent their women and children away, the men stayed at home to fight.
The Syrian men(at least 1,5 million) ran away to safety in Europe,90% left their women and children in Syria.
So,which one earns your respect and deserves to get the arms?

Those reports are highly doubtful.

Reportedly regime forces are retreating to Raqqa.

I didn't say anything about respect at all . both people do deserve the help and support because they are experiencing the same suffering , but it's in interest of turkey to focus on the syrian theater because it reflect more on it's national and domestic security than what would the result of ukriane-russia war .

The more Russia fails in Ukraine, the easier it becomes for Turkey to do what needs to be done in Syria. Actually the Ukrainian war is more important to the entire picture of Turkish Russian relations then part of Northern Syria or Syria in general. Because in everyone region Turkey has some kind of influence in Russia is the number one adversary. Whether it be the balkans, north africa, the middle east, central asia, cacuaces etc.

Its actually easier to intervene in Syria now then it was before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The longer the war drags out the more loses whether in human, material or financial cost to Russia, the weaker their hand in syria becomes. The weaker their hand against Turkey in general becomes.

As much as im against the war, every day it drags out and Russia suffers loses, the better it is for Turkiye geopolitically speaking.

those who stayed to fight while everyone ran away.. staying and knowing its like suicide against two powers without weapons lets you know these guys dont fear death...

while on the other side you see the whole western world giving support.. giving weapons.. not only some fucked up ak 47 and ammo but real weapons.. joining this is not like joining a groub of gardeners, programmers, supermarket worker.. who use big slingshots to deliver self made mortars

the reality is I would never stay on turkeys side as a foreign fighter you will be left and be killed because no one cares.. they sell you easily out.. there is no security in turkish "secured" area

I would deliver those who fight on my side better weapons and I would beat the shit out of assad and ypg and have no fear against russia... that is how you have to react in syria.. they see you inferior if you behave and if you are kind.. they only understand force.. the whole ME is like that

The problem with Syria is the rebels still to this day can't stop killing each other.

My own perspective is that the job that needed to be done in syria wont be achieved with syrians, it had to be done with the Turkish military. I'm not conviced that you could ever organise the syrian rebels into any serious fighting force.

If you watch the Ukrainian war footage, the men behave and act like soldiers. If you watch syria its constant screams of God is great and blind firing. No organisation, no real mental fortitude or skill behind how they engage in war.

Of course, and other possible government (western vassal) would blast to attack. 😂

not this shit again.

We justify the filth and failure that is ak party because the next best thing is worse.

Here is an idea Turks, don't vote for any of these fools, raise new parties with new faces. Do it yourselves if you have to, stop outsourcing the security of the state to these thieves and charlatans.

Spend every moment and every chance you have exposing these thieves and educating the ignorant masses around you. This problem won't be resolved over night, it may take many decades. But if you don't, a hundred years from now there will be no Turkiye.

I say you are spending way too much time before the keyboard! Are you eligible to vote?
EDIT: That is, how familiar are you with voters’ tendencies in Turkey?
