It was known that within the scope of the Weapon Carrier Vehicle Project signed between the Presidency of Defense Industry and FNSS in 2016, a total of 260 vehicles, including 184 KAPLAN vehicles in tracked type and 76 PARS vehicles in wheeled type, will be procured. However, the Ministry of National Defense announced that a total of 344 vehicles, including 208 in tracked type and 136 in wheeled type, will be procured.

> Additional STA Vehicles for Landforces. 344 Orders (+84)

> 113 vehicles were delivered to the Land Forces Command within the scope of the Weapon Carrier Vehicles Project
94 tracked Kaplan and 19 wheeled PARS anti-tank vehicles were delivered to the Land Forces Command by FNSS Savunma.

> 9 vehicles, whose inspection and acceptance activities were completed on April 5, 2021, were taken into the inventory.

ca. 285 Tank Carriers

2018

> On the second day of the Land Systems Seminar, important information was given in the Security Vehicles and Special Vehicle Projects presentation carried out by the Department of Land Vehicles of the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB). In the projects, it is planned to supply 5831 vehicles in different configurations.

> Within the scope of the 8X8, 10X10, 12X12 Wheeled Tank Carrier, Container Carrier and Recovery Vehicle Project, it is planned to supply 476 vehicles with 8X8, 10X10, 12X12 wheel configurations in order to increase the mobility of the maneuvering elements of the Land Forces Command and provide combat service support. (134 Tank Carrier Vehicles )

> BMC and Öztreyler were awarded the project to develop and produce 134 Tank Carrier Vehicles (with 72 of the initial batch delivered in 2019)

> Due to the delay of the mass production of Altay MBT and the development of the Indigenous Engine (BMC POWER AZRA 600HP) which was specifically designed for this tank carrier and has been integrated for testing, I assume the second batch with the remaining 62 Vehicles will be delivered with indigenous Engines from 2022 onwards.

> More Orders will likely follow to replace all Tank Carriers in the Inventory and have one type to simplify Logistics.

Is Yavuz howitzer in serial production?

I hope not. That thing is basically a poor man's howitzer. I rather have the Aselsan KMO solution since that will appears to be a much better platform, not to mention it will be cheaper by simply mounting existing Panthers on it.

32 Missiles on one vehicle.

For the same amount of missile in the theater we would need to dispatch 16 Pars 4x4 or Kaplan-10. :)

There is also one with a vertical launcher that can house launch-canisters for 12 Missiles.

These things could take out two Tank Companies.

Hope our companies are working on similar solutions with their 8x8.

Loitering munitions are far more useful, let's wait and see :)

If that vehicle carrying 32 missiles is hit, it will be seriously chaotic.
I like the Turkish approach, many vehicles each with 2 ready to fire missiles and 2-4 to rearm.

This kind of configurations are made for specific users.
Turkiye made the same thing 7 years ago for the same specific users.
Did you able to guess?
Saudi Arabia like users

You know why don't you :)

There are both benefits and drawbacks, I would like something like the ALAS with longer than 10km range to stay out of ATGM, and most ground weapon range where SHORAD can protect it.

This is being made for the UK. Not sure what you are trying to say. If you are trying to say it is not practical(?), yeah I don't agree.
Israel employs the same kind of vehicles in bit smaller size with their Spike-NLOS on their Sandcat APC that can carry 10 of them. Azerbaijan used those same Sandcats very successfully against Armenia in the War.

Also Pars 4x4 and Kaplan-10 are made more for scouting and hit and run missions.

Many countries are working on similar vehicles. (US with JLTV, Poland with BMP/K9 Chassis, Germany/UK with Boxer)

Also Turkey made an obscene MLRS for the UAE, this is an Anti-Armor Vehicle capable of carrying 32(!) Brimstone missile with an range of 10km+. Its mobile and its fast. It can also target groups of infantry if needed. As Azerbaijan did with the Spike-NLOS against Armenia.

As @Combat-Master said, ATGM or Loitering Munition, having a configuration like this for the NG 8x8 procurement would be a smart investment, imo.

Even one carrying 12 of them would be nice investment.

Would nicely complement the already existing Pars 4x4 and Kaplan-10.

Putting 32 missiles on a vehicle for the British Army is not surprise which is becoming smaller and smaller by the time. So because of high man shortage.
This situation may not be a case for many others other than Russians who are habitually putting too many.
