Priority rn for VLS development is I-Class. I believe after integration, tests on I-Class. Ada-class VLS upgrade will come to the fore in next the few years. Modular design of VLS, either MDAS or EDAS should allow for the solution needed for Ada-class. 8x VLS etc. Ada-class needs G40s and medium range SAM capability, which both missiles should already be tested on I-Class. Upgrade should be relatively fast for Ada-class considering the knowledge, capabilities accumulated.

They choose the most simple solution( which we already discussed here) MK48 VLS for Hisar
View attachment 26722
Exhaust flames exit from side.
Not MK48 but true that it is a simple solution with inspiration from sideway exhaust MK48.
Existing launchers from HİSAR O+ are used here, which are connected to sideway exhausts.

New Unmanned Sea Platforms are coming to the Turkish Seas.
Aselsan and Sefine Shipyards are producing two new unmanned platforms that will be involved in naval intelligence, ASUW, ASW and defence of naval ports and valuable naval surface assets.
After a ceremony first cutting and welding process of both platforms, their manufacturing process was commenced. Both vessels will have a speed in excess of 40 knots and a range well over 600 nautical miles.
With totally autonomous sailing capability and high manoeuvrability and high speed, both vessels will be able to operate in adverse sea conditions successfully.
They will be able to convey real-time images to command centre.
In the event of loss of link, they will still be able to sail autonomously.
Thanks to it’s adaptive software it will be able to sail in accordance with naval regulations.
To have effective ASUW capabilities, they will be furnished with Roketsan tactical missile systems and Aselsan STAMP.
Both vessels will be able to be transported to their destination by cargo planes, naval ships and by land vehicles.
The one for ASUW operations will have possibility to be converted to a trimaran form which will enable it to carry more weapons and give it ASW and mine warfare capability as well.
With Satcom system they will convey Real time data and image to Control Centre.

Majority of projects are on naval shipyards and subcontractors are companies affiliated with state. Only issue could be payment of material and subsystems which i believe is already included in budget for ongoing projects.

Looking from afar, the radar installed on Anadolu seems to be Cenk-S (under the cover but there is a typical notch on top similar to the one seen on Cenk-S and missing on Smart-S -this one is rather flat). Could be an illusion of the light too.

TCG Ufuk, close to complete the acceptance trials and become part of the Turkish Navy.
This ship is going to put Turkey in a different class when it comes to naval intelligence and naval power.
As mentioned, most Important weapon nowadays is the “technological and digital warfare capability”. TCG Ufuk has been designed, from top to bottom, to achieve this goal.
The real aim of this ship is to listen to all the electronic and digital data of enemy, collect it, analyse it, and if needed trick, block and misdirect enemy signals with counter measures.
Almost all technical equipment and sensors that have been manufactured by the Turkish defence industry, will be on this ship in one form another being used and being tested.
Biggest game changer, and breaking of your opponents defence mechanism occurs, when you have taken out your opponent’s digital, electronic warfare capability and it’s IT infra-structure.
As well as receiving intel on your enemy ships, this vessel will be able to receive and analyse data from land positions.
Apart from that, TCG Ufuk is able to receive data on all the countries that it is close to, regarding their radar, electronic communications, and follow and analyse their radar and similar sensors’ energy outputs. With this capability She can block and blind the source of these signals.
No other navy around us has this capability. But with TCG Ufuk we do!

-- So if the Ufuk is so good why Turkey dont produce another one or two !
With only 1 if the war break out and she is destroyed than what ?!

So nice of you, I mostly talk to authorities. This is why I did not come here earlier. But I understand that it is another richness too. Thank you.

1. It is not cheap to produce a ship like this. We are not a cash rich country.
2. There are other ships that need to be finished before building a second one of these. 3 x I class frigates and 7 x TF2000 air defence destroyers need to be built urgently. Plus the Reis class Subs have to be finished first.
3. This ship has the same body as Milgem Corvettes. Hence have a stealthy body. Not easy to see on radars. Therefore won’t be a target that easily. Besides it will never be in the midst of a battle.
4. A war is not very likely. But the knowledge that a ship like this exists in the hands of TN, is a big deterrent in it’s own right.
5. Once this one establishes itself as a viable and effective platform, a more advanced version will definitely be considered.

Having said all this, I have to add that to have a ship like this with no significant defensive weapons is a very perplexing move. I find it very difficult to understand why we have chosen this route for this ship.
