Not a very appropriate name for a sea vessel because of his treatment of the Ottoman Imperial Navy. He was also not one of the best Sultans. This is political. still I would not waste the name alparslan to a drill ship it must be for something powerful Military best fit for a Tank or likewise! maybe I have other feelings and priority towards that historical name than others.. I would find it insufficient and maybe insulting naming a drillship alparslan.. it would also fit (not really to sea vessels) for a destoyer, a bigger frigate or a landing ship/helicopter carrier if you understand my concerns..

Abdulhamid I died from a broken heart when he heard what the Russians did to Turkish soldiers and Turkish civilians along with Tatar civilians.
Lets honour him instead. May not be a remembered ruler but I think Abdulhamid ii takes too much attention.

"Hüdavendigar"(Sultan Murad I) might have been a good name. He largely expanded the Ottoman state and won the Kosova battle. He founded the famous Janissary Corps. He was the only sultan who died on the battlefield. Another good name is the name of the son of Sultan Murad I Sultan Bayezid I ( known as the Bayezid the Thunderbolt/Lightning).

A friend who is the manager of the natural gas distribution company in the Western Black Sea Region said that there is 2-3 trillion cubic meters of natural gas in the Sakarya gas field. According to him, the state keeps the discovery secret in order not to put Turkey in trouble.

The fact that Turkey has one of the few natural gas reserves in the world radically changes the balance in the Black Sea. The Russians will do anything to put us in a difficult position. The USA will want to be a partner in Turkey's Black Sea gas in a way that will harm us.

If what you say is true, then what will be the next plan ? Do you have an idea ? Regarding Russia putting Turkiye in a difficult position, I highly doubt it, especially when they are in a big trouble themselves right now.
There are many ways to compress Turkey. There are many options, from reducing the natural gas they sell to Turkey to sabotage that can be arranged in the region. Apart from that, they may not want to sell wheat. Do not limit your field of view.

2-3 trillion cubic meters will not put turkey in the heavyweight league of countries with large gas reserves. Only if 3-5 more such fields are found, Turkey will become a major energy hub

I'm not inclined to believe it. With our economy in such bad shape, the government would definitely not keep it a secret considering the upcoming election.
