Downvote Tümosan and Upvote BMC ? I know whose work is this PR.
Tümosan just launched a diesel engine for light to medium weight APCs and strangely the project was awarded to TRMotor which hasn't lifted their finger in years.

Lodos Propulsion Energy from Turkey and Zorya-Mashproekt from Ukraine reached an agreement on a partnership.
Zorya-Mashproekt specializes in developing gas turbine engines (including ships).

I worry something like MilPer rip-off is brewing, ..hope not so. I can bet BMC has major shares in Lodos propulsion or going to get it. And looks like they were Murat Metal located in Istanbul ikitelli OSB and rebranded or registered as Lodos propulsion in september.

Why not TEI? This question should have been asked, or why not TAI/Ukrainian JV on gas turbines?
Until when some people will be receiving unlimited benefits from having close relations to someone?

Is it too early to say if we'll have domestic production of the propulsion system ?

It seems The propulsion project details of JV institutes are highly classified but Such kind of JV institutes fully supported by governments will be given all kind of initiative/knowledge and Turkish side will receive extensive tech to manufacture the related propulsion units without meeting any restrictions but the profits will be shared between partners and Ukraine will receive some strategic technologies from Turkey as well.

So, we can expect fully turkey domestic maritime platforms soon, that is huge.
Any hint about TFX propulsion system in light of this new cooperation with ukraina?

TEI will work on the engines even they are not a shareholder.

Someone should write a book about BMC because I have never seen a company that expanded so fast, from importing armor plates from Israel to developing 5th gen aircraft engines

How is that company Lodos even related to anything with engines or defence? Smells funny.

Akıncı is using Ukrainian engines (AI-450T).

Gezgin is using Ukrainian engines (AI-305).

Baykar MIUS going to use Ukrainian engine (AI-25TLT).

Baykar is building infrastructure for Ukrainian engines.

Goal is to co develop engines and also manufacture them in Turkey with tech transfer.

Thinking that Baykar will have separate facilities for engines, its makes sense that they will also work with turbine engines.

Turkish industry came to a level of maturity in overall design and development engineering in almost all sectors and Engines became our biggest defficiency in our own products. Europe and US benefits from this situation when they want to make pressure on us so Turkey is investing heavily on engine sector and we will receive the fruits of these efforts in 5 years.

TEI: Turboshaft, Turbojet, Turbofan engines, drone turbodiesel and gasoline engines
Blacksea Shield: Drone gas turbine engines JV.
Lodos Propulsion: Marine gas turbine engines and transmission JV.
KaleArge: Cruise missiles turbojet engines
TrMotor(TEI is one of the shareholders): Tf-X turbofan engine and most likely Hürjet future turbofan engines
BMC power: All kind of turbo-diesel engines
Tümosan: All kind of turbodiesel engines

They will not buy Anka + and wait for TB3 to be developed.

BANANA REPUBLIC AAJSHDJASDSA

True. The Anka and Aksungur seems a more mature and rugged design like a true modern airplane should look like, while the TB2 and even Akinci look quite 'commercial'. I have no better way to express the difference between TAI and Baykar.

Improving fuel injection and consumption will turn pd170 to pd222.

Doesn’t that mean the current level is like only 70% of it’s max performance ?
I posted it in UAV thread, the difference is for temporarily for extra power at the take-off as stated by TEI in the brochure. In continuous mode both engines has the same power output.
