RR can do more experienced and more quickly. It is also a good reference for countries that will buy the plane.
Depending on lots of factors, engine might not be good as TEI product.

But yes it will be done faster probably

This is ridiculous

Why on earth would they still want to choose Kale/RR instead of TEI/TRMotor even though the latter will perform the first ignition of the TF-6000 by Jan 2023 and the TFX engine will be easily based on it! This means that TEI has a high possibility of giving Turkey a domestic engine for the TFX by 2028 when the mass production begins

Idk wtf is going on tbh
Because kale and RR can actually make a engine? It will take years for TEI to make a 4th gen engine also TF6000 isn't powerful enough to power MMU.

You need to know how to make these kind of stuff you can't just make a fully fledged engine in 4 years.

Just to make something Clear!
İsmail Demir President of Defence Industry Agency in 2022 already State that ALL teams in different companies which are working/ involved in Domestic MMU engine will be bring together as ONE team.
He said there will not be Different teams working on separate MMU project engine.

He also said about RR that Turkiye is on talk with RR that if they want they can JOIN the team or NOT.
İsmail Demir SAID that in 2022-2023 year Turkiye own companies team MADE brake through part/product/platform etc. THING that Prove Turkiye have at present ALL to BUILD MMU engine without any issue.

What I am trying to SAY is that Decision is already made and it is FACT that there is ONLY ONE TEAM made by engineers from Kale, TEI, TRMotor etc.

RR is notified by President of Defence Industry Agency İsmail Demir that Door is open for RR but it is open as they have to join the TEAM and anything related to MMU engine is owned to Turkiye I mean IP rights..........etc.

The thing is power is not the problem.

Also, TF-6000 is a pretty good engine, but they will test some stuff like TVC, Divergent Convergent, IR stealth and others.

RR does have experience but it depends on how much they want to share

Mesude KILIÇ, Head of SSB Engine and Power Transmission Systems:

"Our biggest challenge in engine and transmission projects is that we are trying to develop engines and transmissions on the one hand, and trying to create an eco-system on the other.

While developing the engine and transmission, you cannot supply the relevant subsystem after a while. Where the relevant sub-system or the relevant raw material will be used is actually obvious when viewed from the outside. We continue our efforts to develop these raw materials and sub-systems. It is one of the most difficult issues to create this entire eco-system, except for system design, but we continue our projects and works with all our strength."

Mr Ismail Demir: "We had conditions regarding RR (MMU engine development). There doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment. Before starting to work, we should not speak early"

That's pretty good, we are now going on 3 way route for turbofans, TAEC, TEI, and now Ukraine
I’m more curious as to when will we produce the first engine of this so called cooperation.

Which one of the cooperations?

TEI is now producing prototypes for TF-6000, BSS has done (and will probably produce different models from) AI-322f

from the statements we are little away from establishing cooperation TEI/TRMotor and TAEC for TF-X

any guess on production facility ready for production. Or are we going to dance first and let our so called western allies ruin it again ?
I think that Türkiye is in cooperation with Ukraine in space, missile and other types of engines.

This is good for us, we should seize such opportunities. In return, we help Ukraine in every field.

According to TEI CEO, Mahmut AKŞİT, TEI will deliver two "flight-ready" TS1400 engines to TAI by the end of February or in the beginning of March. He expects GÖKBEY to be flown with these engines in the first half of 2023. TAI having already done the integration of the engine, he expects the process to be smooth.

Great privileges were given to Turkish companies. By 2035, the projects will be able to be developed almost completely tax-free and without customs restrictions. 2035 is an important date. Until that date, Turkiye aims to enter the champions league in aviation and to achieve independent access to space.

1. Risk reduction
2. Serial production. Even if you can design and build a turbofan, designing and building the serial production processes can be time consuming and cause delays. So even if we complete the engine design and prototype production without issues, RR can help with serial production and save a lot of time. Ukraine might also be of some help here even though their engines are less technologically advanced than what we are designing now.
