Thanks to GaN HEMT (high electron mobility transistor) jammer program and new MMIC circuit, Turkish jammer systems are being evolved into more dangerous platforms to meet requirements of very high output energy/heat resistance and larger frequency band coverage.

Underwater Security of Strategic Coastal Facilities is Provided by Echorium Diver Detection Sonar!

Issue 100

June 18, 2020. The Echorium Diver Detection Sonar, developed indigenously by Koç Bilgi ve Savunma Teknolojileri, was introduced for use by strategically important civil and military facilities.

The Echorium Diver Detection Sonar enables the automatic detection of possible underwater threats remotely without the need for an operator. With 24/7 operation capability, it consists of a Central Imaging and Control Station and a High-Power Underwater Sound Signaling System.

The High-Power Underwater Sound Signaling System principally makes a sound signaling that an intruder, such as a diver is approaching the prohibited zone. If the diver does not leave the prohibited zone, it forces the diver to come to the surface by disturbing him with high-power sound signals at an audible frequency.

One of the main features of the system is its easy use by security teams without requiring computer skills through its map-based user screens. Thanks to this feature, short user/operator training enables the efficient use of the system. In addition, sonar screens can be selectively displayed when the system is used by the domain expert.

The system’s field integration and acceptance activities were completed and has started to be used on a 24-hour basis. Furthermore, the performance of the system has started to be demonstrated with live demos to other companies in the sector.

Main features of the system are given below:

High Threat Detection Range and Long Reaction Time

Automated Threat Detection, Tracking and Classification Capability

Low False Alarm Rate

User Friendly, Graphical Software Interface not requiring Sonar Expertise

Operator Friendly with Automatic Alarm Capability

Real-Time Mobile Tracking Capability for Field Support for Security Teams

Remote Tracking Capability

Fast Production and Installation (less than 12 months)

Remote Maintenance / Repair / Technical Support

Onsite Maintenance / Repair / Technical Support

Low Error Recovery Time

24/7 Working Ability

Over 70% local content rate

Ship Protection with Portable Version

Diver Countermeasure Capability with High Power Sound Source

Production of ARES series Radar Electronic Support Systems(ESM) continues by Aselsan. The system will be integrated into IMSS( Long Horizon Integrated Maritime Surveillance System)

________________
The ARES-2NCL, which used in electronic support measure missions, has been designed specifially for attack boat (IPV) type light surface platforms. Offering the capabilities of detection, interception, classification and tracking of the radar signals, ARES-2NCL also has automatic identification capability.

Given the "sample missile" spec, could this be sungur? couldnt find any technical specs of sungur but 200mm diameter and 1,5 m length looks fairly close.

I just saw the effective range doesnt come close to sungur, maybe it is just a sample missile 🤔

I also think it is, but the application could be for an AIM-120 sized missile with IIR homing, seeing as the AIM-120 has a diameter of 180 mm. Or it could be used on the rather stubby Bozdogan, and of course the HISAR systems.

UHTES
Standoff Through The Wall Radar
download.jpg

The Standoff Through The Wall Radar (UHTES) is a radar system used to obtain location information of the target elements, which are located in enclosed areas where there is no visual access, from a secure distance and without approaching the target area, through ultra-wideband (UWB) radar signals.

UHTES has been designed to be integrated onto Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles, Armored Personnel Carriers and Mine-Protected Armored Vehicle systems. Thanks to its long-range penetration capability, the system can transmit to the friendly elements the location information of living beings from a safe distance in cases where it is risky to approach the targeted structure.

Apart from various military operations, such as hostage rescue, counter-terrorism and internal security operations, UHTES can also be used for various civilian purposes, including firefighting and post-disaster rescue operations. The system can detect stationary and moving targets hidden in enclosed environments or behind obstacles.
