They are also planning Süper Şimşek like UAVs launching from C130

Before This, With EF there had been another loyal wingman that we didn't know.
Italian Alenia Sky X

In 2008, it made a very important demonstration where it was able to refuel a C27J completely automatically. The company also conducted a weapon campaign

Anyway, Kızılelma has a rival, Airbus has just revealed European loyal wingman.

What do you mean? Are you talking about the duct?
Yes, sorry, I got my terminology wrong.

After looking at some other photos, I now realise that I was wrong about the shape sorry about wasting your time.

This is a concept and will never materialize. The mock-up is made to inspire of what a wingman could look like. In reality, an actual wingman from Airbus would have much more conventional designs.

seems like the europeans are planning to implement such concept:

It's a Force Multiplier and it's usefull by Operations Outside of Turkey. In 2020 there was an Egypt/ UAE Air Strike in Libya, were some Hawk Launchers got damaged in Al-Wattiya. With proper AEW&C Capabillities in Libya there were no surprise Attack. A high flying AEW&C UAV could more easy detect low flying Threats than a ground based Early Warning Radar.

Do you know what kind of Turkish air defense was installed at Al-Watiya Air Base at the time of the attack on this Hawk?
Some claimed that the attack was carried out by a Mirage fighter. But whose Mirage is this? UAE or Egypt?
Or France? There was also such an assumption.

but neither Akinci nor Kizilelma seem to be a fitting platform. Something bigger like a HALE on the scale of a Global Hawk is more fitting.

I agree with you, there is a need for an high Altitude ISR UAV. With the turkish Presence in Libya and Somalia it become an neccasarry Assest, especially for SAR reconnaissance it's important. TAF lacks in the SAR reconnaissance Area.

Kizilelma lacks the high Altitude Capabillity and Akinci is to slow.

This is why the twin-engine ANKA-X (I don't know if it is called 4 or 3 block B) is a critical turning point. What kind of doctrine will be served by afterburner engines capable of cruising at supersonic speeds for relatively long periods of time is one of the issues we have not yet discussed enough, but it is clear that this platform will be a highly strategic asset too, as a high-subsonic penetrator drone, as it should be. With twin engines, high altitude, maximized cruising range and payload capacity. State-of-the-art autonomy. Capacity for multiple ANKA systems to operate as machine-machine or machine-human teaming. Full stealth capacity is targeted both structurally and aerodynamically, and in terms of communication systems and avionics. Capable of carrying loitering munitions, drones and a wide range of other systems at internal stations. An AESA suite with a powerful EW capability that has probably never been used in a drone before.
