Are we sure that this Scott guy is not Gary's burner account or something...

Only thing missing is him posting Mariupol construction videos and women riding bicycles on the newly paved streets.

You mean like todays Israeli's? Claiming that Palestine belongs to them, making false claims, calling theirselves the Chosen People, while 90% of them are coming from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia and have no historical connection with the MENA-region.

Yes, exactly like them.

You mean like Palestine always belongs to the Palestinians?

Yes, a country belongs to the people that inhabit it. What a novel concept that is…

This is called: Western hypocrisy.

Israel/Palestine doesnt get the same treatment as Russia/Ukraine.

And your posts are called Scott Summers’ hipocrisy than. Because you don’t treat the Russia/Ukraine conflict the same as the Israel/Palestinian one, which is the definition of hypocrisy. But I guess you think that your hypocrisy is excused by someone else’s hypocrisy…

They were ironic, but you still didnt get it. It exposed the Western hypocrisy in both theaters.

He was from the ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedonia. Ancient Macedonians were just as Greek as ancient Athenians, Spartans, Corinthians, etc. They spoke the ancient Greek language, wrote with Greek alphabet and were part of the Hellenistic culture. His teacher was Aristotle and his mother was named Olympias. You can’t get any more Greek than that. Are you going to claim now that Aristotle was not Greek as well? How far can delusion go?
No mate. Macedonia was newer Greek. Ancient Hellens called Macedonians "barbarians"...

I friendly suggest to you to research a litlle:

Ethnicity of Ancient Macedonians

Russia has every right to defend herself. I hope they will defeat the Ukrainian terrorists. Russian people lived in Ukraine for centuries so that land can never be Ukrainian.
Ironic, isn't it, that there were Jews living for centuries in the area of what is now recognised as Israel. Following your logic, that land can only ever be Jewish. Of course, that does require you to ignore all the other peoples who inhabited the area over the centuries otherwise it could only ever be Jewish and at the same time only ever be Arab and at the same time only ever be... etc etc

You are just promoting propagandistic websites that try to rewrite history. The delusion is strong with you, so I won’t waste my time anymore debating you, especially since this is also off topic here.

It was irony to show the dubble agenda in both conflicts. And all you Westerners just ate it.

If Israel is right, than Russia is also right.

If the Ukrainians are freedomfighters and not terrorists, than the Palestinians are also freedomfighters.

You are all Piers Morgan's here. No difference.

You seem to have missed the boolean logic in what I wrote.

PS I prefer not to be placed in your simplistic and erroneous group of 'all you Westerners'. Sorry, I find some of what you write to be unsubstantiated nonsense.

Yes, we were offtopic but still you are wrong. It is not my fault if truth hurts you. Macedonians newer was Greeks and Alexandar the Great was Macedonian, not Greek. He is also called Alexander the Macedonian and not Alexander the Greek. And please be more polite and tolerant to other forum members.

Do you see now that there is no winning for ukraine with the weapons it has from the ''West''?
if the US wanted Ukraine to win,it would have giving weapons making it able to win it.
The US is just making sure Ukraine doesnt get overrun by Russia.
Well, it seems that Ukraine is already on the path of doom and the US is trying to prepare the masses for such an incident

Sorry if I was beeing too aggressive, but what you are saying is complete nonsense. Your theory is that if Alexander the Great was Macedonian, he was not Greek, which is absurd, because you can be both Macedonian and Greek, just like you can be Athenian and Greek, Kyivan and Ukrainian, Londonese and British, New Yorker and American, etc.

The fact that other Greeks like the Athenians looked down on Macedonians doesn’t change the fact that they were all Greeks. Spartans also had superiority complex towards the rest of the Greeks, and there was a lot of animosity between Ancient Greek city states and kingdoms.

As long as they all spoke the same language, had the same gods and the same culture, they were all Greeks.

Anyway, let’s just stop this discussion here as we are off topic.

I wonder how many F-16 are operating in Ukraine now.

Hard to say. Here's what we know:

In total 79 are currently promised:
Denmark - 19 (some already delivered)
Netherlands - 24 (some already delivered)
Norway - 6
Belgium - 30

- Denmark promised to send a second batch by the end of 2024
- Netherlands promised to deliver the remainder of the promised 24 aircraft in the coming months
- Norway promised the first F-16s by the end of 2024
- Belgium promised to send the first batch by the end of 2024, but overall their deliveries will stretch until 2028 (depending on the rate at which Belgium receives F-35s).

I would estimate there are less than 15 F-16s in Ukraine currently.

I wonder if there are any dogfights going on nowadays . Or any f16 were in the range of su57. Or Su57s get in close vicinity of the disputed areas.

Certainly not. Both Russian and Ukrainian planes stay far away from the front due to air defenses.

Then what is the point of having gen5 fighters for Russia?

What is the aim with f16s for Ukraine?

The number of 16 airframes doesn't even seem to be the issue, guys. It's who's flying them. Unless the west is reckless/dumb enough to allow some loophole, immunity for any legal concerns retired American/Dutch/Danish/Norwegian/Turkish pilots who want to volunteer to get in the game may have, Ukraine's going to struggle. Wasn't it just a couple weeks back there was a news story that only like 6 or 7 of Ukraine's guys passed the training, and #1 & #3 in seniority of those are dead?

Deliver 79 F-16s to Ukraine all you want, but it'll be years and years before they've got enough dudes to fly them with any credibility of effectiveness, and the war'll be long over by then.

Then you've got the question of "is an F-16, even a 2024-era F-16 with upgraded avionics/radar etc, really that much of a silver bullet against Su-30s, Su-35s, Su-34s?" They might have a *slight* qualitative edge, against anything other than a 57, but not by much. And coming up against more experienced pilots, in numbers.

Basically, the whole F-16 conversation seemed to be overblown from the start. They'll help, but you're not turning the tide with even dozens of them, short of funnelling western pilots over there to face Russians face-to-face, direct, Korea style. It ain't happening.

Russia's average daily casualty count hit 1,271 in September, the U.K. Ministry of Defence said on Monday

At the moment Russia is gaining on the ground in Ukraine but losing a larger number of soldiers in the process. How many of the 35,000+ killed or wounded in September will recover to be able to fight again or work again is not indicated.

Ukraine's F-16s are mainly used for air defense for now. Russia's meanwhile are primarily used for launching glide bombs and missiles.
