303 NATO regulations have already been introduced in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A significant part of the work is the implementation of the practices, principles and standards of the Alliance. This was announced by the Colonel Andriy Pavelko, Head of the Bilateral Military Cooperation Department of the Main Directorate for Military Cooperation and Verification of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, talks about key issues of military cooperation, ArmiaInform reports.

"To date, 303 NATO regulations have been introduced through the development of 331 national documents. NATO standards are applied in areas such as military policy, security and strategic planning, operations and combat operations, intelligence, information and psychological operations, communications, development,production and adoption of weapons, military and special equipment, strategic communications and gender perspectives," he said.

Pavelko recalled that in 2020 the North Atlantic Council recognised Ukraine as an Enhanced Opportunities Partner. The main thing in cooperation is the participation of the Ukrainian military in NATO-led operations and missions.

"Today, we continue to contribute to the peacekeeping efforts of the Alliance, participating in the NATO operation in Kosovo, where an engineering unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, numbering 40 troops, is performing tasks," he added.
