Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov has met with Defence Production Secretary of India Raj Kumar within the framework of the ongoing activities on development of military-technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.

Raj Kumar stressed that India is interested in further developing cooperation with Uzbekistan in all areas and noted the importance of military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries as an integral part of friendly relations.

The parties indicated the need for using all opportunities to strengthen relations in this area.

Views were also exchanged on prospects for further expansion of military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

Its unacceptable that Turkey has no finger in the Uzbek (defence)market and that those Indians are awarded with contracts in a Turkic state.

Erdogan is investing and concentrating in Arab states, instead of this he should concentrate on Turkic states.

We have close relationship with Turkmenistan too. Unfortunately relations are based on shared interests and benefits and rarely based on race or religion. Sooner people understand it the better.

I kind of see it a positive step for Uzbekistan.
