Wikipedia is almost always full of shit when it comes to participant/casualty amounts in historical battles. It's frequently in the 100,000+ range especially when it comes to Turkish battles where the citations are almost always European historians on the opposing side who unsurprisingly claim that a plucky band of 30,000 Holy League soldiers defeated a gigantic army of 300,000 Ottoman troops. In a battle where there's like six or seven European nations joined in a coalition who for some reason are only able to field a measly few thousand each to battle the Turkish menace while fielding hundreds of thousands everywhere else.

And of course they kill like 2/3 of the Ottoman army while only losing 1000 men. But the Ottomans are still able to field another army of 300,000 within 6 months. In a time where the total global population could be counted in the handful of millions. And somehow without the Ottoman Empire running out of fighting men in like a decade. Either Turkish people in the past popped out kids like no tomorrow or the Ottoman Empire was literally pulling soldiers out of thin air.

EDIT: And let's not forget that the Ottoman Empire was still gaining territory and scoring decisive victories over the course of two centuries despite these catastrophic losses. Call me biased but I reckon some European historians might've been lying just a wee bit to soothe their own egos.

Google has the same political bias as Wikipedia and pushes other, more accurate sources so far down in the search results that they effectively aren't there.

Encyclopedia Britannica is a decent alternative. It's not without bias but usually much less than Wikipedia, which is nothing but a Progressive propaganda outlet now.

Sending a token force, i think the second lowest contributor in terms of the nations who sent teams cannot repair the illegal arming of the islands. Supporting warlords and dictators against Turkiye. Flying planes to northern iraq to pick up pkk terrorist to then be taken to armenia to aid them in their illegal occupation of Azeri land. The renelentless lobbying in the USA/EU to for other bigger more stronger nations to harm the Turks.
