I was wondering if perhaps TNI might consider opting for VTOL UAV for the vessel, maybe it doesn't need as much space when it's an UAV. But I'm just guessing here

There is telescopic hangar if a navy plans to cover the helicopter or other aerial vehicles (if i remember correctly it doesn't cost that much). Also creates an additional space for accomodation on deck in case of emergency & rescue operations. Just like the one used on this CG vessel:
Looking at the size if half-way the hangar can easily be used for VTOL uavs like a full hangar.
