If we're to divide land by the situation of thousands of years ago, then let's return all the European immigrants back to Europe and hand entire North and South Americas to the natives. While we're at it, let's bring back the Roman empire and have them rule over much of Eurasia and have Egypt take over the Middle East, again enslaving Jews to build its pyramids.

Fact of the matter is that we take into account the realities of TODAY. Armenia is an illegal occupier of internationally recognized Azerbaijani lands and is in violation of a number of UN resolutions. Azerbaijan has a legal right to defend its lands from this illegal attack and will be justified to use force.

Sorry but have to disagree with you mate.
There is a twisted anti Turkish narrative played on by the west and the Armenians and using the victim card:
1- Armenians are the invaders and occupiers of these lands as per international law and as per UN resolutions calling for the withrdaw of the occupying forces
2- Armenians were the instigators and seemed ready for war more than they were for peace
3-They are pulling the ''Turkey evil'' ''ottoman'' ''genocide'' card baselessly to capitalise on the anti Turkish sentiments in the west.
4- They are very quick at playing the victim but ignore or hide their own atrocities and don't apologise for that
5- Your average Joe west man is severely uninformed and only drinks up the propaganda fed to them by their media and the kardashians

By that logic all humanity must move back to Ethiopia or is there a line that you draw on how far back in history you are looking to determine who has which rights to any land?

And they can continue to live there under Azerbaijani laws, possibly even as Azerbaijani citizens. If they don't want to do that, then no one is keeping them from moving a few towns over and living across the border in impoverished Armenia.

Tactical retreat or not it was very disorganized judging by the quantity of intact hardware left behind.

It is clear the Armenians might not resist the continued assaults of the Azeris and have to retreat behind other lines of defence. Drone strikes were pretty succesful in depleting their war potential.
