Germany is too busy saying sorry and paying reparations to Israel while at the same time German tax paying money goes to pay for Israel's military.

Thats why Germans have no respect are the most cucked nations since 1945. We can all thank Hitler for that.

Forbes wrote that Turkey does not ship new MAM-L to Ukraine due to its balance policy and the USA wants to develop a MAM-L equivalent ammunition to be shipped to Ukraine. Anyone know about this?

US wanted to use some Cirit like rockets that are already in its inventory that are not good against tanks and armored targets but good against some softer targets like fuel tankers and such. Nothing is final yet AFAIK.

That's the article mentioned by merzifonlu. Bro, the author is totally and entirely speculating. There's no evidence, no proof, no official statement.

Yeah, that's a complete BS article... suggesting TB2 be armed with APKWS laser guided rockets...

"The APKWS is lighter than the current missile used by Ukrainian Bayraktars and does not carry such a powerful warhead. However, given that they have been mainly used for destroying fuel trucks and anti-aircraft vehicles rather than tanks, they may not require heavy anti-tank missiles.

The lighter weight of the APKWS gives an advantage in load-out: rather than four MAM, a Bayraktar may be able to carry six or more APKWS."

David Hambling perhaps do some research; Ukrainian's have MAM-C, micro munitions.

Solid fuel rocket engines to be used in the KARGI Anti-Radiation Attack UAV System were delivered.

Solid fuel rocket engines developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE were delivered to LENTATEK for the KARGI Anti-Radiation Attack UAV System Project, which is under the main contractor of LENTATEK (Vestel Defense). In the first stage, 10 live rocket engines were delivered. TÜBİTAK SAGE started working on the engine in 2018.

KARGI will carry two different engines on it.

1. The solid propellant rocket engine will be activated during the launch of KARGI and after KARGI reaches a certain speed, it will leave the UAV.
2. Subsequently, the two-stroke boxer type gasoline aviation engine (TEI-PG50) will be activated and a flight will be made to the target.

This project has dragged on for far too long, and in the end I feel like we are going to be disappointed with it (No E/O payload) ....

Vestel was still one of the pioneers in this sector which has done R&D completely independently and without governmental financing or support.
Maybe their end product hasn't performed to the TSK standard but it managed to export them to Saudi Arabia which is an achievement in itself.

You don't have to be a Karayel fanboy in order to respect it.

Why don't they turn TAI Gozcu into a loitering munition ?

Just enlarge it's size along with engine, make the vertical stabilisers foldable, add rocket booster that can be jettisoned, slap in the same 42kg warhead that's on MAM-T ... Wallah, something comparable to HAROP.

Karayel was government Fonded project that failed to meet the expectations. It was supposed to be catapult launched, parachute retrieved drone.

If Kargi is also fails I think they shouldn't get any more project. 2 large failed project is unacceptable, Considering Kale wasn't able to deliver ktj 3200 on time but they spend their own money to complete the project, Vestel just didn't even try to complete original Karayel project. They shouldn't even get Kargi project, that was slated for another company that would have delivered it years ago.

They should have pay huge penalty not delivering Karayel. Vestel is the biggest government Fonded Military company that still havent delivered any end product at all. They have no place in this industry for any end product at all.
