Thats the difference with far easternes and balkaners and the middle east.

They work hard so the same things are not repeated while the Balkans and the Middld East constantly blame everybody for being a shithole.

Koreans, Japanese and the Chinese all deserve respect no matter what while Serbs and Greeks will constantly blame the Turks for their backwardness same story in the Middle East.

Their mentality is why the Balkans and the Middle East is trash. Its not the Turks or any other foreign power that came and conquered those powers brought stability.

Turkiye is in both Europe and Asia. Sometimes we are considered the Middle East because we are close to the region while some regions in the country are considered to be in the Middle East just like how Edirne and European part of Istanbul are considered part of Europe.

if our army performed as good as in WW1 and leaded by Ataturk,i think we should have won the balkan war,even the 93year war.

We didnt have enough talented commander between 1683 and Ataturk,even Osman Nuri Pasha didnt had the chance so to show his abilty as an commander in chief(he was a good field commander).

And after the death of kara mustafa,our tcommand of any war was always.chaotic

Sometimes we lost just because Suvorov and Prince Eugene were military genius,even French armies(most advanced by the time) crushed by them.

Turkiye is in both Europe and Asia. Sometimes we are considered the Middle East because we are close to the region while some regions in the country are considered to be in the Middle East just like how Edirne and European part of Istanbul are considered part of Europe.

if our European part had a bit bigger(Salonica,Eastern Rumelia,the full Vilayet of Edirne)we would in better ECONOMY position by now

Just like how we are apart of Europe for centuries we are also apart of the Middle East for centuries. Our imprint has been in both regions for centuries.

Something which Europeans and Arabs cant accept because it hurts their bs superiority because these "inferior Mongols" kicked our asses and we just cant accept it. Either coping or seething.

Because of Christianity. Since when does religion determine race. Albanians and Bosniaks are Muslim but they are also European. I give you another example, in England "eastern European" is also said as a disparaging term. I've seen Poles and Czechs for example when someone says they are eastern european, they try to correct them and say central european.

"The West" has created the perception that anything from the west is good and to be desired. Anything from the east is lessor and anything from the middle east should be looked at with contempt.

When the conservative party led by a descendent and traitor of Kemal Ali who attempted to have Ataturk murdered on British imperial orders, needed the english people to vote leave, they focussed on Turkey. That if they stay in Europe millions of Turks will come to England. Naturally the racist hateful element of england lapped it up and voted leave.

In general the british media has demonised Turks for decades, the families who owned it decades ago still own it today. Where Turks are able to counter the narrative is that the Turkish people in general are quite hospitable and friendly here. Then many Brits go on holiday to Turkey and become friends with Turks over there.

So despite the constant demonisation, since most brits know of someone who is Turkish it counters it to a degree.

Ottoman Empire is still recognised not just a Turkic power but also a European and Middle Eastern power.

The reason why Cumans, Huns and other nomads are barely recognised as European powers because they barely lasted for centuries while in the 1800s the Ottoman Empire became recognised as part of the balance of power and apart of Europe.
