Yongatek also intends to produce Turkey's first domestically designed FPGA chip.

It seems that you either can't understand what I wrote or can't remember what you have wrote. You are spreading disinformation, yes on many similar issues like detectors, IRST, engines, radars and you continue to do so on other issues Although I warned you in above post. I can share at least 10 nonsense of yours like the post above so this is another soft warning about this to you.

Just a last friendly advice to you, Don't talk assertively about things you don't know because the people won't always have to clean up the garbage you created in this forum @Isa Khan
may i ask what disinformation i caused about DETECTORS and IR? i added the reference from DEFENCETURKEY MAGAZINE on detectors and ir
it says 'in very near future we continue to work on mass production phase of HD detectors.'
And it also says, 'aselsan also continue its efforts to localize the infrared detectors'
which mean, at least how i understand it, the work isn't totally completed yet.
usually, if there is incorrect information in my post i am always more than happy to correct it when i know. ( but you shouldn't make sweeping claims like a bully )
what are the false infos that i wrote about radar or engine or what are my so called 'ten nonsense' ?

Why Nikon, I hate my Nikon camera :(
I do not know about media info but it is look like they leading people to believe that Baykar "create new generation 14-camera"

I do not know that Baykar working on such cameras or other Turkiye company building such kind of devices
Therefor this news is like ............ little stretched-> misleading

About Nikon question-> what other option Baykar have?
putin army made the same thing with Cannon cameras on their Drone. World is laughing on them
We see Baykar made same approach ..................we will see

Nikon is durable, better than Canon for still photography and a little more affordable. They made the right choice.

Yongatek is talking about 65nm chip factory to be established in Ankara. With continuous investment, the chip production process technology will be updated. Later, it will be planned to establish a raw material and wafer production facility.

and remember Minister's statement about chip factory

Trade Minister Mr. Mehmet Muş:
"A certain place in Ankara is reserved for this (Chip factory). At the moment, the Ministry of Industry and Technology is working on this investment."

"Turkey wants to get involved in this business (Chip production). I think we should. Because the mill does not turn with continuous transport water. There are many different levels of this. Even if you do not run all levels, you need to run some levels. The future will become more technological and digitalized. Of course, this chip will be needed in every field that will be digitalized. The demand for this will increase. "

"In this sense, we as Turkey, want to be a productive power. Our most important need is water. Water is used a lot in the chip production. Water is needed for the chip to be used. We have preparations for this."

The question is what optics a whole camera? Or just a raw kit? If is like using it on smartphones like Sony chips than it's OK.. Also this is not like Russia and their camera... Russia used that commercial camera as main optics.. But This from bakar is a mapping device "addon" and if it is not ment to do it in night it may be enough..

thats 2005 tech! at least start with 22 or 14 nm tech and work your way up to relevancy, this is ridiculous!

The processes you see in image show the production technologies of Israel Tower semi conductor company. Israel currently produces mentioned strategic SIGE, CMOS, MEMS, SOI technologies its country needs with 45nm. Malaysian Silterra has 110nm process tech. National Çakil multi-core processor was also produced with 65nm process. If you dont aim to compete with Intel or AMD, the 65nm is a perfect start and 14nm and better are unnecessary investments.

Starting with 65nm and aiming for 28nm in 5 years will be a good improvement. Perhaps 14nm in 10 years. The foundry technology developers will not be willing to sell the highest end equipment to newcomers like Türkiye. Unless we invent a breakthrough technology we are already good with what we will have.

We have

250nm > Yital have
180nm > Aselsan made an agreement with a Malaysian company that has 180nm process
130nm > Yital is trying to switch to (perhaps they already did)
65nm > Ankara foundry is planned
45nm > one step up

Chip manufacturing tech is quiet important for us.
We could start with duv technology and below 100nm in serial production is a good point.
We May need to convince taiwanise to obtain chip manufacturing technology. Duv machines is easir to procure.
