There may be some misunderstanding here as he may have meant that it is in the pipeline and not on the assembly line. This case only puts the arrival of it somewhat further away than being impending.

It is a relief to finally know that the upcoming TISU/Göksungur is a full grown unmanned fighter rather than a target drone or faster than a bullet but smaller than a hobby toy plane.

We have a defense industry and project load that can destroy enemy without firing a single bullet but If Turkiye is forced to use full scale forces to a brain-dead spoiled enemy one day, the war will be over in terms of equipment, probably within less than 1 week due to using disproportionate force that World hasn't ever seen yet.

It would be amazing if it would come to that because that certain country is already on its last legs.

Speculation for the TAI TISU is that it will have a MTOW of 6-7 tons. The second anecdote is that, just like the AKINCI-KIZILELMA relationship, TISU was developed on the basis of the Anka-AKSUNGUR infrastructure and the use of the term fighter aircraft.

These two bits of information indicate that both MIUS and TISU are part of the same program in line with the SSB's UAV roadmap.

This is an important detail because, especially this year, a significant number of people in defense circles argued that the TAI UAV division was being deliberately destroyed in order to advance Baykar Tech. However, the fact that TAI has started to make a major breakthrough in UAV exports, as well as the emergence of 3-4 new UAV systems - one of which is the TISU - in a wide range of segments, has completely disproved these arguments.

In addition, not only TISU, but also a system similar to the MALD system, which will additionally be a supersonic; and very long-range high-speed kamikaze drones derived from the target drone will be other unmanned systems of utmost strategic importance.

Also means, TISU might differ from MIUS thus indicating that it should be a strategic bomber, instead of a fighter. Something like F-117 / B2 with stealthiness being the priority compared to maneuverability , something to infiltrate and deliver guided munitions deep into enemy's territory.

It was such in the past and since then TAI has improved benefits remarkably also a law or regulation has passed to stop private companies from headhunting workers from foundation owned companies. Recently it is vice-versa, i heard recruitment of Baykar was slightly disappointed that top graduates are preferring TAI over them.

All companies were requested to increase their production capacities and to be prepared to respond to the intense demand not only from Turkiye but also from abroad in the upcoming periods. Our most challenging projects haven't given fruits yet, so we're talking about the tip of the iceberg now so I'm emphasizing the capacity that will be created when the iceberg itself comes up in inventory and when it comes together with tactical intelligence of Turkish army.

That was just for akinci ucavs and was an idle talk. Do not take it serious.

Just an example for the capacity of Turkish industrial military complex: Turkey is producing thousands of guided bombs (hgk, lgk, kgk, teber, minbo etc) each year. Even if there is no general mobilisation..

We are expecting an announcement on the national AESA radar soon. There were statements that AKINCI's nose radar tests would start in the last quarter of 2022. It is almost certain that another variant of this radar will also be integrated into F-16 Block 30TMs.
I hope we'll hear something about a proper testing aircraft.

There is a very busy schedule for the integration of many new systems, both on the avionics and ammunition side. The AESA radar is an important step forward, but there are many other exciting surprises.

The aircraft's total power output and lift capacity will also continue to increase. Within 2-3 years, the AKINCI system will become a more capable and flexible platform than its US counterparts. Moreover, it will offer opportunities that no Western manufacturer can compete with, not only in terms of system design, but also in terms of initial acquisition and flight costs.

If they're seriously planning to do the testing exclusively on AKINCI, I'll be lost for words. 100 GBs of data can't be transmitted from AKINCI. They need a proper aircraft with the engineers inside, tweaking and testing it in real time.

Tusaş unmanned fighter jet is under the production

I have carefully listened the interview, not willing to kill the vibe but Mr. Demir says "hatta - on line", not mentioning "production" work there. It could be indicating that, it is planned or in design stage. However, he had paused there when he was about to tell something further, that may also indicate it is either completed or soon to completed.

Greeks must be really panicking right now, they don't know how to deal with all these advances. Imagine not one but two different unmanned fighter jets, one is probably going to destroy your entire airforce (obviously exaggerating but you get my point) the other is probably going to destroy all your ground units (TISU as a tactical bomber pls).
And it's not even 2023 yet, imagine all the other things waiting to get revealed.
