It was apparent that there were some foul play with that so called report from a month or two ago. Pity. Always the same with Paramount, can never do it the right way.

Per this 100mm gun thing, maybe they'll opt for a Chinese copy of the Russian turret as they don't want to get the BMP-3 turret like UAE did? Also keeps Otokar's name clear of any future business with Russia.

VN-11 is the export name of ZBD-004.

ZBD-004 with the mentioned turret. Don't know about the dimensions, but shouldn't be too hard for Otokar to handle it. Turret is probably a downgrade compared to what Otokar usually offers, but should be cheaper and keep the Kazakhs happy.

I hadn't even noticed, you're right!

This looks to be the turret of the VN20 heavy tracked IFV. It can also carry a single ATGM on its side.

This is a 4 billion dollar deal so it being won is s success in itself but still, after using western turrets for years and even Russian ones, Turkish vehicles are now using Chinese ones. Being flexible is great, yes; but those turrets sometimes cost as much as the vehicle itself, so it's still lost revenue.

Indeed we should have a modular turret with multiple caliber support such as Cockerill 3000 series.

Turkish armored vehicle manufacturer Otokar showed off its new ALPAR unmanned armored vehicle. The prototype was demonstrated with an Otokar MIZRAK-30 combat module with a 30 mm cannon and a Roketsan OMTAS ATGM. The machine has a low thermal signature and can operate autonomously or be controlled remotely from a distance of up to 5 km. Otokar expects that the ALPAR robot will reduce the number of personnel performing tasks on the battlefield and reduce the risk to which it is exposed. The weight of the ALPAR robotic platform is 12 tons, the power plant is hybrid, diesel-electric with the possibility of full electric propulsion. The car is controlled remotely by 2 people and it reaches speeds of up to 70 km/h, with a range of up to 500 km.

Ukraine tag is interesting. They are also playing the Britain angle with that flag. Are NMS and Ejder getting sent to Ukraine with a UK contract or are they eyeing a possible British contract to maybe replace Huskys, majority of which were sent to Ukraine?

We see that both hard-kill and soft-kill should be used simultenously for the best efficency in terms of countering and costs. Knowing MM-GIDS isn't spicy with cost, I feel like FELIX which has a 360 degree coverage against GSM and GPS signals widely used in simplistic drones could be the best option to fill out soft-kill. Loitering munitions and 12.7 mm gatling can take down not only UAVs but also infantry and lightly protected vehicles.

I think it can benefit from DASAL's ARIKUŞU package.

ARIKUŞU includes a retractable landing pad that keeps the drone safe during recharging.

If we couple it with SOTM, SANCAK-30 RCWS (SANCAK's VENOM LR variant exhibited on PARS 4x4 during IDEF2023) we could have a very agile and dependable armed recon vehicle.

(Almost makes me sad I don't have a ready PARS 4x4 model)

I would love to see unmanned MLRS but if the carrier is tracked and unmanned , the UGV can penetrate inside enemy lines so the range of artillery Rockets could be reduced. There is no need making tracked either unmanned MLRS with 50km range.

I would like to suggest loading (edit) 107mm artillery Rockets , if you could please draw UGV with 107mm MLRS launcher.

Or unmanned mobile smart mine layer

Last but not least unmanned and tracked TOS like systems would be great as TOS rockets have less range and heavier warheads.

While reading it TOS came to my mind. It proved to be extremely effective while keeping the range low. It is also logical because it is closer to enemy lines and there will be less danger as there is no crew inside. Reloading could be done further from the line.

My bad, I was referring to TRLG122 count in one pod for a two-pod system like on KAMAZ. The count is 12 TRLG122 missiles per pod.
