I'm happy that we do have a quantum computer development program, but also diesheartened that it's only 5 qubit. Also, writing algorithms for quantum computers is an absurdly difficult thing, and completely different from regular computers. I hope we have mathemathicians and physicists of such caliber.

The most important thing here is the initiation of such projects and if the planning and management are right, developments will continue until they're rife.

Any update about Aselsan DUV lithography device ? It is very important for making high end chip needed for radars , Mission Control computers n all military electronics . This is Achilles heel of Turkish defence industry . Russia has been suffering from it for last 10 years . China is also suffering from it due to USA sanctions on this type of device . China is now trying to collect second hand DUV devices .

With the installation of the giant forging press last year, MKE has a world-class integrated facility for precision steel production, which is a strategic development in itself. However, in parallel, MKE is deepening its facilities and capabilities in other fields of activity recently.

As a state-owned enterprise (KIT), inefficiency at MKE was one of our biggest problems. But now, We can easily say that the structural transformation at MKE over the last 3-4 years has yielded really positive results.

Crazy side of the story is we are going to produce chips with Russian technology, but what about the ambargo? Indians and Egyptians want to partner with it. This is second level chips, this is a bolt description of Cemil hoca. This is a industry what will focus on Turkish indusrty like automotive and electronics. Aiming of 45nm is the plan, i think we should go for it because the partner with Malaysians taking to long and this is wasting off time.

It is a very late move. I have never understood why we did not make such moves before. It is pretty sad to hear such stories from east. Türkiye must invest a few billion dollars for energy and semiconductor industry every year. In military we will be not a US or China in near future but we can be definitely a France sized power. I hope that everything is connected each other and military will trigger semiconductor too.
