Depends on your budget and ETA;

Low budget, short term: CENK-S AESA - MAR-D AESA + 2 x AKREP (STIR).

Medium budget, medium term: CAFRAD - CFR (Multi-function radar) module 4x + rotating CENK-S.

High budget, long term: Full CAFRAD suite with integration of Indonesian GC radar in place of the UMR (Long range radar) module of CAFRAD.

Mete Han = CAFRAD CFR / CENK-500N (possibly AKREP-500NI) , not sure why Aselsan named this radar as such, while it already has a suitable nametag and codename. It should have more thab CENK-500N

Who supplies the E/O and tracking radar? Seems like Thales product to me, though brochures earlier mentioned of Akrep FCR.

Seems like there is no Torpedo countermeasures, and major combat systems (S band radar, VLS) are FFBNW, this is no frigate guys, more or less a patrol vessel with X band MFR, and gun based defence systems.

Well, adding MIDLAS requires docking, and months lasting integration work. So assuming a casual schedule it will be first installed after a year earliest, or three year when the first major overhaul arrives.

The FCR doesn't seem to resemble Akrep anymore, more looks like STIR.

TurDef learnt that the brochure has a spelling error where SAM was written as "ASM".

Turdef picture is also have typo, merah not merih.

From my understanding the merah putih is not a class name but project/programme name.
Just like PKR, where later called as martadinata class and not Perusak kawal rudal class.
But idk.

What is the difference between Cenk and Akrep ?

AKREP is FCR, they have made a mistake, it should be CENK-500NI (I for Indonesia most likely).

As I said in the other thread, it is either fixed face version CENK-300N which will be used on the Turkish NGFAC or CENK-500N which together with CENK-600N and CENK-700N makes up what we call CAFRAD and will be used on the TF-2000 Destroyers.

Both are X-Band MFR.

What is the difference between Cenk and Akrep ?

CENK is the family for search radar of naval platforms.
AKREP is the fire control and MFR family commonly used for both land and naval platforms.
ÇAFRAD is the complete radar suite with dedicated X band MFR, S band MFR (primarily long range detection and tracking) and IFF.

ÇAFRAD currently is: CENK-500N (X Band MFR) + CENK-600N (S Band MFR) and CENK-700N IFF (SSR)

AKREP-500NI is possibly part of CENK-500N serving as an Illumination module. Same nametag is similarly used for AKREP-100NI.

Here it is clearly stated that:

AKREP 100-NI, integrated into the Fire Control Radar, is a CW (Continuous Wave) X-Band illumination radar.

Mete-Han is CENK-500N. AKREP-500NI is not a standalone system, or even if it is meant that way, AKREP-500NI would be referring to a former part of ÇAFRAD suite which referred as dedicated "Illumination Radar" - AYR. Which, is what shown in the brochure of AKREP-500NI, also has been tested at sea, guiding an ESSM in APAR mode.
