It is reported that Israili jets were blocked by the Turkish over the Northern Syria. Both sides refrained from taking ant action but it is also claimed that Israil told the US that they will shoot against Turkish jets may the same situation occur in the future.

Is it possible for american made Turkish jets to lock and fire onto other American made jets? Then what happens if Isreal uses her more advanced jets like F35?

Honestly by this point, another theory popped up in my head

What if the current Iscalations comiited by Israel and the Druze in Syria is nothing more than a farce in order to buy time for Israel to complete its fortifications in the annexed regions of Syria? If Israel succeeds, then they assess the situation; if Syria is still weak, then they go on and annex more lands till they reach Suwaydah (Druze-majority area) and if Syria recovered enough, then they are presumably ought to be satisfied with increasing their land space by going 20km deep into Syria for now

That's a no brainer. Israel is much better at doing covert war to increase their own reach and grab land. You have to bloody admire the way they're doing it.

But that can be done because the west allows and tolerates such actions. It's an important trait to be able to do covert war on several fronts and keep weakening an enemy.

Turkey doesn't have politicians or the leeway to do this. because of how much West, East, North, South is scared shitless of us doing anything covert... lol... go figure who's raping their rights, but they're afraid of us.

US President Donald Trump said he intends to lift sanctions on Syria. "This decision was made after discussing the situation in Syria with the Crown Prince, and also with President Erdogan of Turkey, who recently called me and asked me for a very important... I will order the lifting of sanctions on Syria to give it a chance at greatness," Trump explained.

Syria has already begun to celebrate.

most likely it will come out that erdogan accepted kurdish autonomy in the north east of syria. Lifting of sanctions will be a short term gain that can be taken away at any moment. Giving autonomy to the PKK in the north is something that will cause damage to the region for many decades to come.

Erdogan just achieved the dissolution and disarmament of the PKK.
That's a fact.
Why do you think he should agree to autonomy in northern Syria?
I don't see any logic in that.

PKK is just one tiny wing of KCK. They've been defeated before, until AKP stepped in and saved them for votes. This is the third time they've done this. KCK is still alive and well in Syria under YPG. Militarily, PKK hasn't had room to breathe for years inside Turkish borders. Now as Erdoğan continues to lose popularity, he's eyeing an alliance with DEM. This is the only way he can win with votes, ignoring the fact that it will be illegal for him to run again.

This is all just a big show. He's trying to sell it as peace with the "Kurds" to gain DEM votes and as a victory for Turkey to gain nationalist votes. Meanwhile, he has jailed Ümit Özdağ and the mayor of a city of over 15 million for no legal reason. Whilst all this is unfolding, everyday thousands of Afghans and others jump over the border.

Don't forget the attack on TUSAŞ late last year. PKK did it and what did they say? It wasn't them. Same thing will happen again and again, and there will be no response. We still haven't properly hit them back. Meanwhile, Ocalan is on the brink of release. It's a fucking joke, please don't be so naive.

In 5 or so years, when fighting begins again, they'll have smuggled thousands of FPV drones into Turkish borders. Then we'll see something much uglier than the 2015-2016 urban battles.

Well I guess we now know why Özdağ and İmamoğlu go put in jail. PKK-AKP Kurdo-Islamist alliance is in full swing.

Trump meets with Syria’s president in Saudi Arabia, and declares lifting of US sanctions on Syria. He also advises al-Sharaa to join the Abraham Accords and mend ties with Israel.

The meeting was brokered by MBS who was also present, and Erdogan was on video call.

I think it is a first for a former al-Qaida member to meet a US president.

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa addressed the nation on state-run Al-Ikhbariya TV channel, announcing the beginning of a new stage in the country’s history aimed at restoration, development and strengthening national unity.
“Today, the modern development of Syria begins. These lands will become a home of peace and joint work,” al-Sharaa emphasized, noting that the country has overcome a tragic period and is now moving on to a creative phase.
The head of the Syrian state expressed gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his long-standing support for the Syrian people. “I visited President Erdogan, a leader who has been standing next to our people for 14 years and bears great responsibility. He received millions of Syrians. In him, I saw love, friendship and complete determination to help Syria get back on its feet,” he said.
“Syria promises you: these lands will become a land of peace and cooperation. Every hand extended with kindness will be met with gratitude. The country will no longer be an object of division or external pressure. Syria belongs to all Syrians, all religious and ethnic groups. These are blessed lands for all who live here,” he concluded.

Immediately after the president’s speech, mass rallies in support of the new course of the country’s leadership were held in a number of cities – Idlib, Homs, Damascus, Hama and Lazkia, the Turkish Anadolu agency reports.

Israeli intelligence holds talks with Syria and Turkey in Baku

Israel is holding direct and indirect talks with Syrian officials, Israeli Channel 12 reports.
It is reported that two rounds of talks took place. One of them was held in Azerbaijan, where Israel was represented by the IDF Chief of Operations, Major General Oded Basyuk. Representatives of the Syrian government and Turkey were also present at the meeting.

Israel is considering the prospect of Syria leaving Iran's sphere of influence and a possible rapprochement with the United States. According to Israeli sources, such a development could also have a positive impact on relations between Israel and Turkey, since Ankara is taking part in new talks.

Trump told reporters: "I told [Al-Sharaa] that I hope that you will join the Abraham Accords as soon as you stabilize. And he said yes."

You do realise that Imamoglu, just like the current AKP, is pro-DEM to the point that he supported shitty practices like having DEM/PKK members getting elected into the parliament from the CHP rosters and then giving them back to their former parties?

You do realise that Umit Ozdag sided with Kilicdaroglu, during the 2023 presidential elections, even though kilicdaroglu promised to give the DEM/PKK a whole ministirial position?

There are no good politicians in Turkey and as long as the DEM controls 18 million Turkish kurds, each and every party will beg for their votes especially with the current political landscape of each party having around 20% if not less of total votes and the CHP, under Ozgur Ozel, showing how a monkey can have a greater IQ than him and till this day Iam wondering why on earth isnt Yavas the CHP leader or presidential candidate

As for whether the PKK will reappear in Turkey, it all depends on whether the Turkish military remains in Syria or not and the state of the current re-approachement with the SDF. Hakan Fidan just stated yesterday that the SDF is not fullfilling many parts of the deal while other sources reported that the SDF are trying to buy time to give their foreign mercenaries time to get Syrian citizenship and have them incorporated into the SDF territory while others are reporting that Israel is close to establishing new supply lines through third-party nations and are intent on keeping Syria destabilised and as long as the US is in Syria, Turkey cant hunt the PKK at all

As expected, YPG/PKK continues to fortify its positions

The problem is the Turkish government is not listening.

These idiots believe Kurdistan from Iraq and Syria can be controlled as puppets by us Turks.

Thats why there is this stupid acilim. Its going to backfire so bad. We shouldnt believe Barzani is onboard with us either.

Give the Kurds in Turkiye autonomy then thinking it can be controlled in Syria and Iraq by Turks.

This is going to backfire so bad.

Minister Bayraktar, regarding the natural gas shipment to Syria, said, "Right now, we needed to connect a pipeline there. There was a mined area, and the Turkish Armed Forces cleared it. Therefore, we have passed that area. In a few weeks, gas will reach Aleppo, and from Aleppo, it will reach Homs, and we will activate the power plants there."

Bayraktar also stated, "We have been looking at how much we can contribute to Syria from day one. Currently, we are exporting electricity to Northern Syria."
