Than thats more state vs Assan tham MKE , because Mke is state company and his directors and other workers should not give a f*ck How many tenders MKE win or how much exports , Their Salary is fixed and they take it every month like every branch of Turkish state institutions or companies, Even if MKE export 10 billion € their director will take just his state salary so again why they fears competition !
That's true in countries that function properly, but, we are a kleptocracy. Things work with greasing palms and knowing the right people or kissing the right ring. Someone upsetting the apple cart is looked down upon in kleptocracies, status quo must not be disturbed or off the book "profits" might go down and that is unacceptable.

MKEs shitty quality also costed the lives of numerous Turkish soldiers.

Never forget.
MKE is the biggest reason this country lacks in barrel “tech”. The shell and bomb situation of the armed forces was in such a gutter for decades, remember us needing to emergency import shells from the South Koreans for ops inside Syria ?

Now that other companies are stepping up and rectifiying these problems they cry like a little child. I truly hope it’s get shuttered down and we don’t have to read about this embarrassment of a company anymore.

But it won’t happen due to it being in the hand of yandas’s and ASSAN will most likely slowly be dismantled by being sabotaged. Just for MKE to continue sabotage the armed forces and national security with their not even subpar performance.

There is a drama going on between MoD/Asfat and some private defense companies. There might be more developments. We might hear more in the future.
