And too many Drumbands.I think TNI is overreacting to the TNI anniversary celebrations. Many people came because there were free motorcycles, and the parade also featured too many non-military group.
Not to mention the public festivities like the music stage afterward, which made people enthusiastic to come quickly to the location.
we know our people are difficult to control when too many come and the weather is hot at the places …
At the video, tourist from England came with many people around
Yup, but fences don’t make it better, because TNI Make the event like “ pesta rakyat” , they need more organize it well, like put people area with big monitor, so people don’t come to center and need few monitor to cover it … thank’ God no civilian hurt on those crowed … but we lost 2 soldier for the eventAnd too many Drumbands.
Next time they need to put fences on each side of vehicles passage for safety reason and to avoid this kind of bottleneck:

Actually, Monas is suitable for large-scale parades because there are many lane. The problem of this time was that there were too many events and the audience had no perimeter/sterile area.Monas is not really suitable for holding large scale parade.
New state palace in IKN is more suitable + area around kemenko, wide road, open space. Easy for parade convoy to move around, lots of place for people to watch (not concentrated).
Maybe in the future.
Ah, when the president need to walk to the venue cuz his motorcade also stuck. It's like repeating the parade at Merak Port in 2017, where traffic was stuck
