A breakthrough by two Ukrainian tanks occurred in the Kharkiv region. The video shows two Ukrainian tanks of an unidentified model belonging to the Ukrainian Army's 475th Assault Regiment. The tanks advanced a couple of kilometers into the Russian-controlled zone near Olkhovatka, in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region. After firing upon Russian units, the tanks withdrew to their starting positions. Thanks to "cagelike" armor protection (often referred to as "mangals") installed on the tanks, FPV drones were unable to hit them. Olkhovatka has since been lost by the Ukrainian army.

The architect of a Wagner Group arson attack on a warehouse storing aid for Ukraine has been ordered to pay more than £160,000 to his victims.

Dylan Earl, 22, admitted aggravated arson and a charge under the National Security Act after fire destroyed industrial units in Leyton, east London, on March 20 2024, causing about £1 million in damage.

The warehouse was targeted by the terrorist Wagner Group because it was being used to supply humanitarian aid and StarLink satellite equipment to Ukraine.

The Russian hybrid war against the UK...

I think the man was sent to prison for 17 years.

A Ukrainian drone is engaged using small arms. This footage shows Russian mobile air defense fire teams operating in the Donbas and Ukraine. Small arms are used to take down Ukrainian army drones. The exact location of the filming is not disclosed.

Residents of Pryluky, in Ukraine's Chernihiv region, published footage showing strikes by Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles. Some media outlets reported that a Ukrainian air defense missile malfunctioned and struck a residential building, resulting in several fatalities. The Kh-101 missile has a range of up to 5,500 km and carries a 400 kg warhead. It was later reported that the "Plastmass-Pryluky" industrial facility in the city of Pryluky, Chernihiv region, was hit during the missile strike; the plant manufactured and stored components for FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles.

You got item 1 wrong. The US did not start the war in Ukraine. The US did not attack Ukraine. Another country did. Worst mistake Putin has made during his rule.
In 2014, the US made the first provocative move by toppling the pro-Russian president. Yes, the Russians did invade Ukraine. However, the Russians did not fire the first shot.

The pro-Russian government was toppled by Ukrainians, not by the US. Stop spreading Putin’s propaganda.

Leaked U.S. phone call about Ukraine draws anger from Russia, EU

A taped and leaked telephone conversation between two U.S. politicians about the future of Ukrainian politics -- which included an explicit comment about the European Union -- has caused a diplomatic flap, exacerbating tensions between the United States and Russia.

Reuters reported Friday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel found the comment "absolutely unacceptable," according to a spokeswoman for the chancellor. She also expressed support for the EU and its foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton.

The phone recording features voices resembling those of Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt discussing strategies for Ukraine, where anti-government protests have continued since November. The conversation appears to have taken place in late January, when opposition leaders rejected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's offer of cabinet positions.

The audio was anonymously posted on YouTube Tuesday under the heading "Puppets of Maidan" -- referring to Kiev's Maidan Square, which protesters are still occupying. In the video, voices attributed to Nuland and Pyatt talk about the merits of the opposition's leaders and the possible role of the United Nations in helping to resolve the situation.

In the conversation, the voice reported to be Nuland's says that Arseniy Yatseniuk, one of the opposition's leaders, has "got the economic experience, the governing experience" and should join Yanukovych's cabinet. She argues that two of the other leaders, Oleh Tyahnybok and former boxer Vitaly Klitschko, should remain on the outside and offer advice to Yatseniuk. None of the three accepted government positions.

At one point, the voice resembling Nuland's says the United Nations could "help glue this thing" and uses an expletive about the EU.

Jen Psaki, a U.S. State Department spokeswoman, did not dispute the authenticity of the recording, but suggested that Russia had a hand in its release.

"Certainly, we think this is a new low in Russian tradecraft," she said.

A link to the YouTube video was posted on Twitter by Dmitry Loskutov, an aide to Russia's deputy prime minister. Loskutov later interacted with a New York Times reporter on Twitter, saying that "disseminating started earlier" and that he first saw the video on a "social network."

On Thursday, White House spokesperson Jay Carney also suggested that Russia was involved in the recording. "I think it says something about Russia's role," he said.

So you think that foreign support for the opposition means the US toppled Yanukovych, but somehow Russia‘s support for the dictator is not meddling in Ukraine’s business.

In Ukraine, Russia exerted much stronger influence than US and the EU before the Maidan revolution. Of course that Western powers also tried to support the pro-Westeren Ukrainians, but to attribute the success of the revolution to them strips away the merits of Ukrainians themselves.

It was not Victoria Nuland who toppled Yanukovici, like Putin wants you to believe. It was the Ukrainian people who were fed up with years of corruption, theft, poor management of the economy, and th refusal of the pro-Russian thug to move closer to Europe.

Putin thinks it is natural for Russia to meddle in the internal affairs of neighboring countries, but when the US or the EU do it, it is suddenly different.

If a Russian puppet leads Ukraine, it is the will of the Ukrainian people. If an independent Ukrainian leads the country and decides to move closer to the West, he is suddenly the West’s puppet.

I am fed up with these Russia propaganda talking points. I heard them since 1990 when the Soviet block fell because of economic mismanagenent and failed dictatorships. Whenever people decide they want a better life and to integrate with the West, it is “foreign interference”. At the same time, all the KGB thugs who want to keep the countries poor in order to serve Russia’s interests are ”nationalists”, or “sovereignists”.

And what about Nuland and bilions of $

You should know by now that whenever there is internal conflict in a country, the powers around it would support different factions. This doesn’t mean they control the situation or that Nuland toppled Yanukovici.

The US favored Yatseniuk while Russia favored Yanukovic. It was the Ukrainians who decided who governed them, and they decided to support the pro-Western camp, because being in Russia’s sphere of influence only brought them poverty, corruption, and no chance to a better future.

I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel. Between our TOTAL CONTROL of the Strait of Hormuz, and this great announcement on Russian Energy, Diesel Prices for Americans and, indeed, the World, will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my Greatest Priority. This is a very big and important announcement. Additionally, it must be understood, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP
