Thanks for that. So it's a small pocket with Azerbaijan on three sides and Iran on the other. I hope this Azer's squeeze this pocket until it's enveloped into Azerbaijan. Then be done with it. Pakistan will be rooting for Az.

I don't think Armenia can invoke the article 4 of CSTO since that organization has 3 Turkic members (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan) who would likely veto it. Only Russia has the military capacity to get involved anyway, and it has to play a balancing role vis-a-vis Azerbaijan. Too much support for Armenia will make Azerbaijan more hostile towards Russia, possibly inviting US presence and sticking a dagger up Russia's soft belly.
