Even the French and the Brits phased them out,while Austrians are planning to do so in close future.Russians,Americans and Chinese never went further than prototypes...decades ago.There is a reason for that.

They need many things,first of which is for the "strategic partners" from the West to allow the formation of real Army instead of the current security forces which are basically a heavy militarized police force. From then on all the equipping and organization will go much easier.
