I think none of the UCAVs fired any AA missile. Neither Akinci nor Kizilelma. I was waiting for Sungur integration to TB-2 but it didn't happen.

Sure but it's not like we need to throw $20 Million + to the dumpster, when the same work can be done with cheaper UAVs.

Yesterday we lost an Akinci in Iraq, maybe we should have some self defence system or, we should use smaller, cheaper UAVs for targetting/recce and use Akinci as stand off missile truck.

Anka-3 already did, I don't see a reason why Kizilelma to not do that. I guess by time but it's a slow pace for an UAV which was supposed to be in serial production in 2024.
